In summary

White Stone Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course conditions, particularly the fast and true greens, as well as its scenic and challenging layout. The staff is noted for their friendliness, and amenities like GPS-equipped carts and a well-stocked pro shop enhance the experience. However, some visitors express frustration with the slow pace of play and issues with bunker maintenance, citing overcrowding and scheduling as areas needing improvement.

I got invited to play Whitestone Golf Course in Benbrook, TX, and this place is consistently in great condition. The greens are fast—easily some of the fastest in the city—and rolling beautifully. The GM, Tony, shared that they’re currently expanding all the greens 8–10 feet wider, and they’re planning to upgrade the bunkers as well. The fairways and tee boxes were excellent, and I really enjoyed the par 3s, which are both fun and challenging. The course itself is beautiful and well-maintained, making for a clutch, enjoyable round every time. Whitestone is a must-play for anyone in the DFW are…

Very nice course with lots of sand bunkers. The Marshall is a little excessive, but great course

The course is in good shape especially for Winter. Decent lies instead of rock hard hard pan . The greens were exceptional. Really fast but rolls true . You cant play out of the sand traps . They are unplayable Large stones inside all of them . Thats the only complaint in my view ! Looks like they are really doing some really nice improvements . PLAY IT ! You will be pleasantly surprised.

Went early- course was in great shape! Especially for late November. Greens were excellent. The bunkers are dirt not soft sand. Which I actually prefer. Staff very friendly- from check in- cart guys- cart girl - starter & London at the snack bar. Only downside is the price. However- overall very enjoyable tract.

Really enjoy this course. Greens are in great shape; rolling fast, always enjoyed the course design, friendly staff, carts are nice with GPS, cold towel on the turn, fully stocked pro shop. Hopefully revamp the bunkers soon and offer a few more food options.

Despite the heavy rain on Sunday, we played Tuesday. Sure it was wet in a lot of areas but the course looked good.

They charge a great price but apparently get what you pay for. Greens were terribly maintained. Had dragged cleat marks through out the greens and rough edges around the holes. The fairways and ground were hard as a rock. There was also no marshal to have the players paced. We as a 3 some got stuck behind a 4 some who was holding up and backing up the whole golf course once we got to the 7th hole. We had literal lines of people waiting on par 5s and 4s bottlenecking the rest of the entire 18 holes. The 4 some in front holding everyone up then got confrontational and proceeded to cuss & threate…

I mean this place is just miserable. They book their tee times 6 mins apart. I’m literally on hole 7 right now after 2 hours of play. Then they send messages to our cart to “be mindful of pace of play”… how about you guys hire a Marshall with all the money you’re making smashing tee times together and keep the pace moving. I have given this place time and time again. I’m done with this course

Played for first time in golf tournament. Clubhouse is very nice. TV's above urinal had PGA Tour on liked that. Was disappointed at snack bar. Pizza or hot dogs? Golf course has seen better days. It was drizzling rain 🌧️ but cleared up later. Loved the Windmills!

So I drove out to Whitestone to hit a couple buckets of balls with my two 4 year old boys and then maybe play nine holes if wasn't busy. They were renovating the clubhouse, with equipment and workers all over the place. me- "How much is a bucket of balls?" It's $20 for access to the putting and chipping areas and the driving range. Also, It's mats only today, just to let you know. That comes with a bucket of balls. me- "how much is another bucket?" It's $18 for every additional large bucket. me- "I thought I might play nine holes if it's not busy after I'm done." We can't just charge you for…

Overprice, but it doesn’t stop people from going. Course was stacked on a Sunday. 5 hours to play a round and waiting on every tee box. Three holes had temporary greens. Staff is friendly, but the course just wasn’t fun to play. A few year ago and it was alright, but won’t be going back soon.

***played 9-21-2024*** The course is in the best shape I've ever seen it. Bumped it up to 5 stars. Traps need a bit of work, but best greens I've played on in the Fort Worth area. Recommend. I have a love, hate relationship with this course. Price is very affordable. The past couple times was only $15 with a cart. It looks like they are trying to improve the course. The traps need sand. Just alot of trash on the course and in the native areas. Sometimes the course looks amazing and sometimes it looks a little rough. I keep coming back though.
