In summary

Highwood Golf & Country Club is appreciated for its well-maintained and challenging course, friendly and attentive staff, and the quality of its restaurant, particularly the Foxes Den. Many visitors enjoy the variety offered by the par-3 course and the overall welcoming atmosphere. However, some guests have expressed dissatisfaction with the condition of certain course areas, the handling of rainchecks, and occasional issues with food service.

Highwood Golf Club is a great spot for a round in High River. The course itself is well-kept and has a friendly, welcoming vibe. That said, it’s definitely a challenge for higher handicappers — lots of spots that can get you into trouble if you're not careful. One of the highlights for me is the option to play the par-3 course. It’s a fantastic alternative if you're looking for a quicker round or want to work on your short game. The staff are always friendly and helpful, which makes the overall experience even better. Would recommend to anyone looking for variety and a good test of their gam…

I grew up playing golf at Highwood Golf Club. This place is near and dear to my heart. I can't begin to tell you how disappointed I am in this place. The new Heritage is in the poorest condition I have ever seen it in. Sadly it was like that last year. The membership is great, restaurant is excellent. The range is absolutely sub par. If it's a choice... It won't be here. I attached a few photos.

The golf course is challenging, and in great shape. As well it is professionally run and managed, by friendly and attentive staff. Pro Shop was full of great deals, and a huge selection of merchandise.

The course I absolutely loved, after the 9 hole we went for food and I was served a raw chicken sandwich and they still were asking me to pay for my bill at which it took myself and my whole table to say to them I shouldn’t have to.

Highwood is a pretty flat course. The reason for the 3 star is because 1 deduction for having no cart path and very dusty, the other is their New Heritage 9 does not show on my Garmin (first time I encountered this).

We recently had a group of 23 for a Christmas party at the Foxes Den at the High River golf and country club. I am writing this review because I cannot say enough about how much we appreciated what the entire team did for us. To walk in and see the room fixed up so beautiful and festive meant so much. Much more than we could of imagined. Our waitress, Nikki, looked after us with her usual classy service and attention and the chefs did not let us down. Their were lots of positive comments. If you haven’t been to the Foxes Den lately you might want to give it a try. The new menu and daily specia…

On April 5th my wife and I attended the High River Golf course Roast Beef Buffet. Reservations were strongly recommended as the dining room was full with guests standing outside the main entrance. The buffet was well laid out with Caesar salad, firm and not overcooked vegetables, mashed potatoes ( had to be whipped as they were very creamy) , and roast beef cooked to your liking ( rare, med. Or well done) I took advantage of the fact that seconds were welcome, and that included the roast beef. The desserts were ten flavours of cheesecake and carrot cake. HATS off to the chef for a well presen…
