In summary

Hillsboro Country Club is generally well-regarded for its friendly staff, well-maintained amenities, and enjoyable 9-hole course layout, which offers a mix of open and tighter holes with varied terrain. Guests appreciate the club's additional features, such as the bar, pool, and community events. However, some visitors feel that the pricing does not align with the course quality, and a few have noted issues with fairway and green conditions.

Horrible! If it was a horrible course but cheap that would be ok, but it was $40 to ride 9 holes! The course was horrible, the greens had bare spots with no grass and just sand, fairways are never mowed, rocks everywhere (in the fairway!), tee box doesn't have grass and fairways never have normal grass it's always weeds. I would get it if it was a cheap course but it is $40 to ride 9 holes and only 9 holes. Not to mention it is $25 to walk 9 holes when way nicer places are only $20 to walk 18 holes. Overall horrible for price, it is better to make a different drive somewhere else to spend less…

I've had my eye on this course for a while and finally had a chance to play it last week. My golf game sucked, but the course was in surprisingly good shape for the price. Pace of play was swift and the few people I talked to were friendly. Not a ton of room for errant shots, so bring some extra balls if you have an inconsistent swing like I do.

Nice Course the Superintendent goes above & beyond to keep the course looking good. The bar has fast friendly service. The pool is well kept & recently renewed.

Great party throwers! I did a Casino party with Whitefelt Casinos and had a blast. Emily and Katie were awesome!

I’ve played this course a ton. The problem is the price vs quality of the course. This is not a nice course. They don’t have a twilight price. They don’t have winter prices. It’s like $45 for 18 holes. Hidden creek is $30 for twilight and they have gps carts.

Great open course. Cart paths are a little subjective, but the greens are solid.

I didn't expect much due to location and it being a 9 hole course. I was quite surprised. The overall condition of the fairways and greens was great. Just one or two greens with a small rough spot here and there. Tee boxes were ok. Love the layout. Nice variety of terrain/elevation. Some open holes, some a little tighter. The only downside I encountered was that they don't open until 8am. Kind of an odd start time for the summer. No driving range unfortunately but they do have a small practice green. Definitely a hidden gem.

Was my first time here and had a great experience, considering the time of year and lack of rain.... the course wasn't the most lush but still in descent condition....has a nice bar for drinks and good amount of beverage options! Also competitively priced!

Always a great crowd, an one of the very few places you'll find a table tennis set up in the club house. Golf course is a 9 hole an does scrambles on Thursday evening, couldn't ask for a better place to relax in the small town of hillsboro.
