In summary

Cleburne Golf Links is frequently praised for its beautiful lake views, well-maintained course, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for both locals and visitors. The course layout is appreciated for its challenge and scenic design, with amenities like a clubhouse and on-course restrooms receiving positive feedback. However, some visitors have reported issues with slow pace of play, unprofessional staff interactions, and the condition of the greens, which can detract from the overall experience.

Pros: beautiful scenery of the lake, great course layout, hamburger was delicious, restrooms very 3 holes. Cons: limited trash cans and ball washers ( dint need them today) at holes.

One of the best courses in Johnson County. Views of the lake are great. Range and club house are easy to navigate. The people here are friendly and always welcoming. Definitely recommend checking it out if you are in the area.

Played yesterday. Even with all the recent rain we had, the course was in good shape. I have always enjoyed playing here. As the weather gets warmer (or humid as it was yesterday) a cart person would be bee a nice addition. 8-29 Played this course yesterday. It is in great shape. 10-20-24 Played here today and the course is in great shape.

Felt very rushed whoever the old man is that was coming out when we were playing kept rushing us thru our holes. Very very rude and made the guy in front of us leave after they got into an argument about same thing being rushed. Also greens are not very good. Not to mention 2 in our group haven’t played in very long time so they felt even more rushed which reflected in how they were able to play.

As a professional golf Entertainer I always enjoy my visit to Cleburne golf links. I was born in Cleburne way back when and I currently live in arlington. I travel around DFW and the state of Texas raising money for Charities with my traveling Trick Shot Show so it's always good to come back home. Disc golf course was redesigned by Mr Culligan in our from Arlington and did an excellent job on the redesign. Very challenging layout with lots of options off the tee. The Pro Shop staff is always very professional courteous and always on their game. If you're in the neighborhood in the area or woul…

You can look at my account and you can see that I never do any reviews. But because of today, I just felt the need to point out how egregious Cleburne Golf Links was. When we teed off. We had to wait for 3 parties in FRONT OF US. At around hole 8, the cart girl told us we were getting complaints of pace of play when if we finished the hole immediately, we would be WAITING for the party in front of us. And behind us were three more parties. And then they pulled the marshal to watch us play and made us uncomfortable. Never have we ever been called out for our pace of play because we play scramb…

Unfriendly nothing on their website says book your tee time weeks in advance. The cost is high and the greens are in really bad condition

There's a lot of pros and cons to it so I'd say it's 50/50. Pros: it's a "comfortable" course. The grounds are nice and maintained. The areas under construction are clearly marked, and it seems the maintenance staff is what people come back for. The gentlemen that work there have all been kind and helpful. Cons: the ladies that work there seem to not want to be there. I asked if they carried plastic tees for my teen who prefers them. The lady looked at me like I said something inappropriate. The pro shop doesn't really carry much of that would be needed in a pinch, which is what it is there fo…

First time to play, you might think it's a country course but I was wrong. What a lay out the greens are wonderful. It is a beautiful golf course. Take the time to drive there and you will be pleased 😀
