In summary

Hollydale Golf Club is appreciated for its well-maintained course, friendly staff, and enjoyable layout that offers a mix of challenging and fun holes. The course is family-owned and provides a welcoming atmosphere, making it a favorite for many local golfers. However, some visitors have experienced issues with slow pace of play and crowded tee times. Despite these concerns, the club is valued for its affordable pricing and convenient location, though it is set to close soon, much to the disappointment of its patrons.

Too much fun. A nice little course right in the heart of the western suburbs!

We spent a hot, but enjoyable day hitting golf balls at the range

Nice course, well maintained. But the pace of play is play is always slow as heck. Just finished 9 holes and no joke, took me just under 3 hours. Ranger kept saying he was working on pace of play but nothing ever changed. I waited 26 mins to tee off on hole 6. Yes I timed it.

Decent course. Decently maintained and the staff have been friendly. I haven't had any of the pace of play issues with rangers that others reference. It's close to the house and weekend twilight isn't super expensive....Beats Shamrock all day.

Nice keep golf course. The greens are small, and fairway are narrow. The parking lot is small, but there is an overflow parking lot across the street. The drinking cart is out after or around 10:00 AM.

Meh. I'm not a really good golfer, but this course sets up weird on a few holes. It's usually pretty well maintained. It's a nice walk. A little bit of water on the course. But it's fairly forgettable.

Great golf course! So sad that it will be closing down, for good! What a pity the new owners are replacing the course for more condos/townhomes. This course has been a jewel of a golf course for many, many years. What a waste of such a beautiful area and fun golf course.

By far this is the worst run golf course I have EVER played! After teeing off on the first hole, we were told we were not keeping up with the pace of play. First hole?? It gets worse.... End of second hole, ranger is waiting on the green. Tells the ladies golfing with us they need to start picking up their ball. I could see the group behind us just getting to the tee box. What a joke! Didn't tell the guy in front of us, walking, he shouldn't be playing three balls. Who was holding us up. If I could rate this horribly run golf course lower, I would. Shame on you Hollydale, not the way you treat…

Fun, family owned & run, great price w/cart. Front 9 is more challenging than the back 9. Enjoy your next round of golf!

Ah the club, our go to. One time my bud has his shirt off slamming a bullet cause saftb. The ranger drove up stopped and looked at us and just kept on rollin. That's why we like this place. Tea times too close together though.

Nice course and fairly inexpensive. Lots of leagues here so if you want to play in the afternoon make sure you call first or else you will get stuck playing the same 9 twice.
