The course is actually decently well kept and a bit challenging. Greens are fast and unpredictable. But here’s my biggest issue: We had a pretty big issue when we golfed here about three years ago and overall had a pretty negative experience. We decided to come back after we found out the course had been bought and is under new management. My group had booked two tee times because we had six people. When we got to the first tee, the starter admitted there wasn’t many tee times booked behind us and noted that as long as our whole group of six played a scramble and kept up with the group in fro…

What a beautiful course, if I lived nearer, I would get a membership immediately. I was so impressed, I've played so many courses, this one is definitely in the top ten. Truly beautiful, so well maintained. Really fell in love with this course!

Great course, challenging as well as beautiful! I will be back for a round of golf. The restaurant had good choices and the food was alright, the bar had a good selection of drinks and a daily special.

Excellent up north golf! Lush and well manicured. Nice pace on a weekend morning, enjoyed our round.

Fantastic course, very well maintained, and delivers that "Up North" environment. Everyone I met was nice and I could sense the pride the members had in their gem of a golf course!

We had two tee times for a group of six and checked with the starter at hole 1 to make sure it was okay to play as a 6-person scramble. He told us it was fine as long as we kept pace — which we absolutely did. By hole 5, the group behind us had driven into us twice. When we spoke to the ranger, he admitted he told the group behind us to “drive into us” to speed us up — which is not only unprofessional, but completely unsafe. Instead of addressing that behavior, the ranger accused us of lying and claimed the starter would never allow a 6-person group. We offered to split up, have two people s…

This course is super! Well kept and clean and challenging. Just no complaints at all. Made it even better when we got in and had a beverage and something to eat. The restaurant is incredible. Mark has it headed in a great direction. Gotta get back down there one more time before the season ends.

This is a phenomenal course. The greens are tight and fast, the fairway is an actual fairway, and the rough/second cut are consistent. But what really made it stand out is the price ($32 for 18 walking), and above all the layout. It is a gorgeous, meandering forest course that feels like each hole is a unique challenge. Many of the courses in this area are back-and-forth farmers fields. HBs layout takes you on a gorgeous hike through a Carolinian Forest. It is a fairly flat course, so the walk is easy. However they've added difficulty in the form of ample water hazards and sand traps. This one…

First time, and definitely not the last round I will play here! Friendly staff and course condition was great! Open layout but nice up north feel. Great bunker and penalty areas to keep it challenging. Incredible value!

I recently had the pleasure to play Huron Breeze. As an avid golfer I have played nearly 500 of Michigan’s 18 hole tracks. As I mentioned to the course pro after my round that they have a real gem! I also wanted to recognize the nicest and most courteous grounds crew I have ever encountered. Having tee’d off at 8:00 AM as a single, the grounds crew were busy preparing the course. At every opportunity they pulled over and even shut off their mowers as I played through. In addition, the two groups I caught up to quickly and courteously waived me through. Again a testament to the friendliness of…
