Ironwood Country Club

Played Ironwood for 30+ years. It is a fantastic short course. Too easy for skilled players younger than 50, but just perfect for this 71 year old with knee replacements and other assorted problems. Great course!

An executive length course, but still has two par 5's and several challenging par 4's. Outstanding condition in Feb 2026. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were well maintained and a pleasure to play on. Would go play this course over and over. Only negative was the golf carts. Very old and are gas.

Fantastic course and community. It is a shorter course, Par 67 with a great, newly remodeled restaurant. Course is in fantastic condition - seems to always be very nice when I play here.

I have played this course many times over the last couple years and it’s one of my favorite courses in my area. It’s a par 67 executive course so shorter and very playable for more senior players but challenging enough for some of the better players too. Some of the par 4s are drivable at just under 300 yards and some par threes are wedge away so at times it’s target golf but then there are a couple pretty standard par 5s as well. Fun par 67. Great 19th hole.

Service excellent, very attentive to our needs. Food just ok, but took long time to deliver. Zucchini Sticks are huge, a meal on its own. Clam chowder, clams very chewy (indicating overcooked), not enough potatoes, nothing else was in the soup. Too loud noisy (and this was before the music - we left when the band was setting up). Patio Doors were open even though >100 outside, making it very warm inside.

Sunset at the Club is amazing! Nice outdoor seating complete with heaters and gas fire features. The food, is less than amazing. I have tried four different dishes, and was not impressed. How do you screw up pasta????? Stick to the classic and easy cocktails. The staff, while very friendly, seem to be overwhelmed (understaffed). Bright spot? LIVE MUSIC is always a treat! Get up and dance! They have really good cover bands/trios, etc. Worth making the trip for!

This is one of the top 10 rated short courses in the United states. I enjoy going here and playing a round every Saturday morning or afternoon with a great group of guys. the greens are always in great shape and the fairways are rather nice as well they take good care of it. sometimes the play gets slow but contacting the pro shop usually brings the starter out to take care of things and keep a good pace.

Great pool. Decently maintained. If you bring the kids to visit grandma and grandpa for Easter, do not dare let the kids SIT near the pool (kids swim 12-3pm) outside of the approved hours or you will get turned in by a grump. Sit at a table with your family near the pool at your own risk.

A great gathering place for residents with a top rated golf course. Kitchen provides a tasty menu and serves as an upscale 19th hole. Live music on Fridays by local talent. Friendly folks hang there sharing a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

The golf course in a gated community (Ironwood) and and it's very upscale. The course was in great shape and I was very impressed with the layout. The par threes are kind of challenging because they're on the long side with the majority of them playing 180 plus from the blue tees. I definitely would play this course again given the opportunity.
