In summary

Jamestown Park Golf Club is highly praised for its well-maintained greens and challenging layout, making it a favorite among many golfers who appreciate its reasonable pricing and friendly staff. The course is noted for its excellent condition, even during off-peak seasons, and offers a pleasant setting within a park that provides additional recreational activities. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about slow pace of play, inconsistent course management, and issues with customer service, which may affect the overall experience for some.

Seriously the best golf course we have ever played on. And we've golfed extensively up and down the east coast. We were a bit nervous with it being a city run golf course (from past experiences), but this place is absolutely beautiful! The staff, from the pro shop to the starter to the course management, was extremely friendly and helpful. The cost to play was so reasonable ($55 for the weekend). The pace of play was smooth. Groups on every hole but everything kept moving. The course itself for late November was immaculate. Leaves off to the sides of the greens and perfectly manicured fairwa…

Had the pleasure of playing this hidden gem for the first time and it sets up like a dream and was in excellent condition. Greens rolled very true and was challenging.

The greens are some of the best I've ever rolled. The greens were very firm. Tough conditions on masters Sunday. The entire course will be excellent condition in about a month. Best kept secret in the triad. Can't wait to return.

Moved starting tee since my last visit in 2022. 1 is now the former 10th tee, and 10 is the former 1st tee. The 18th hole now ends in front of the club house. I like the change. The 1st tee is a part 5, followed by a par 4, then another 5. The fair ways are on excellent shape. The greens are fair, yet offer a challenge. The greens require careful reading. I really like this course because it is fair for left handed golfers from the tees. Well worth a revisit if you played it before, and could be a favorite course if it's your first time playing. The course still has an issue drawing after a he…

Golf course is in good shape but no one monitoring pace of play. We are 40 minutes behind pace, groups backed up 3 holes in front of us, and the clubhouse said they are not going to do anything about it. Nice golf course, terrible service

Played here for the first time today. The greens are lightning fast and in excellent shape. It's definitely a tougher course to play if you like a challenge!!!

Drove the 1.5hrs today to play this gem with my son. It did not disappoint! I carried and walked the course. The pace of play was very good given it was a weekend. The course for early November could not be in better condition. The greens are firm and fast. You definitively need to play this course a couple times to know when to chase the pins. On several occasions I hit the middle of the green only to have the ball roll off the back. Look forward to playing this gem again.

Visited the course on Sunday, July 25th, with 2 friends of mine. Price was fair for the weekend. The clubhouse was clean and everyone was courteous. The golf carts were clean and ready to go. The course itself was cleanly and the other golfers were very polite and helpful. FYI, you may see a deer or 2.

What. A. Gem!! Every review of this course should start with a conversation about the most amazing greens I have ever putted on. They look just as good as Quail Hollow with the PGA Championship this week! The fairways are delightful and the tee boxes are a little dry because of no rain but for under $50 it's one of my favorite courses ever. I've played a lot of golf around the country (AZ, OH, Tampa area, MA, and so on) and if you haven't played here, do yourself a favor and spend $47 for a very enjoyable and beautiful course

First time playing this course...it's a one and done course for me....along with the group of guys that joined me. The layout is challenging. The pros.....carts are very comfortable and has pep to go. Greens are smooth. Layout is a challenge. The cons....the rough is the rough that you could hit through the fairway and lose a ball in the first cut of rough cause the ball drops out of sight. Fairways are cut thin so the ball will definitely roll into the rough. The greens are a joke....yeah they roll smooth but you can't hit at the pins. Balls bounce and roll completely off the green...even w…

Why have the shelters and bathrooms been closed for weeks now? Where are the people parking to walk the trails supposed to pee and poop?! In front of the closed bathroom doors? Isn't there a health statute that govens this?! It's two months later and no bathrooms
