Golf course is usually well maintained and greens are generally in good shape. Moderate difficulty with spots of good scenery. However, play at your own risk. The ranger rode through twice during our 5 & 1/2 hour round behind 2 4somes that would not pick up the rate of play and never said a word. the frustration took this review down considerably. the 3 longest rounds of golf i have ever played were all at this course. edit: forgot to mention the ladies in the restaurant! They're wonderful and the food is always on point!

Very impressive municipal course! A value is an understatement!. Course does not play long, but it requires moving the ball both directions and distance control! It is a fun course that I will visit again and again. The grill is not bad either, burger and fries or grilled pimento cheese all above average!

First time every playing here today. Course was in good shape and greens were great. They have an awesome proshop and grill area. If you're ever around this part of high point, make sure to stop in!!!

Good course, for a good value. Holes close together, but the course is in the middle of town so it’s expected. Greens were just aerated so they played very bumpy for the tournament today.

For a municipal course, it's at the top of the list. Course is well maintained, traps are kept raked and have actual sand, greens roll true and are in very good condition. It has a good lay out and is challenging from start to finish. Staff is accommodating and respectful of your time. It can get full at times, but play flows well. For it's value and condition, a great course to play.

Played yesterday with my wife and it was a very good experience for 1st time being here. The man in pro shop very nice and helpful , even talked with the ranger when he was out on course and also super nice guy. The carts and course are all in great condition. Greens are great and the collars or fringe area are meticulous. Fairways are full for a great lie. For the price and conditions you will not be disappointed.

Wish there was a way to give 3.5 stars because it’s not quite 4 stars but a little above 3. It’s a good value course and the staff is great. I give it 3 stars for the greens. I really wish they could re do them with an updated hybrid Bermuda. They’re in good shape but very soft and really slow. You really have to hit putts hard to keep them online. Also it’s way past time to trim the trees back on 18 tee box. From the back tee box you have to play a rope hook to have a chance to hit the fairway. That hole would be so much more fun if you could hit a normal tee shot. Fairways and tees are in de…
