This was my first time at this facility and I enjoyed it. The course is somewhat confusing which will slow you down a bit but it is a fun place to play. The female Marshall was rude when she deemed our group to be playing slow, but I feel it should be expected with the holes crossing one another (first time playing there). The front desk gentlemen were very polite and helpful. I’m looking forward to playing this course again, I promise to play faster next time.

Considered this my “home course” this year because it’s closest to me but I will have to find a different place to practice. The people there aren’t terrible nor is the course but the management doesn’t seem to care for the player experience very much. - No food or drinks after a certain time. -The staff will remind you a hundred times that the gate closes at 7:30 even during the time of the year that it’s still day light out. - The driving range is mat only 99 percent of the time. - The mat is awful for your swing, hard to adjust tee height on, and leaves plastic garbage stuck to your clubs…

Pete Dye wasn't playing when he put this place together. Awesome views of the lake, tons of wildlife and very challenging holes. Bring your A game or a lot of balls and enjoy!

Do not go here. I witnessed the group behind us getting ticketed and kicked off the course, due to having outside beverages on the course. I get that the course wants to make money off their own sales, but most times people don't bring enough that they won't still buy something at a course. Don't bring a gatorade. Don't bring a protein bar. Don't bring a beer. You will get harassed by some pretty rude and power tripping park rangers. I even got yelled at for using a swear word because I was so surprised by what I was seeing. I was 10 feet from them, not across the course. This is a golf cours…

For $37 with cart, this is a beautiful course and a great value. The greens do have a lot of stuff on them (leaves, pine needles etc) but overall a good value.

Outstanding staff and golf course. Greens were a little rough, but some of that is understandable with the heat. Love the layout and challenges this course presents. We will definitely be returning.

This golf course is one of the most beautiful places I've ever played. It's one of the most challenging as well. Love this place.

Golf course is great. July 4 Fireworks. Not so much. Pretty tame. Medium size and 1 at a time for 20 min then a 30 sec bland finale. It's been progressively getting less and less .

Drove the 90mins from Charlotte to play this supposed gem on 17June. I’m glad I did! It’s a wonderful layout! You have to play it several times to know where to avoid leaving the ball. The course has great bones and the greens were in very good condition . Wish I could say the same about the rest of the course. In all fairness it’s what you should expect from a public muni.
