As a Falls Church City resident, I really enjoy playing at Jefferson District Golf Course. The course is beautiful, fun to play, not overly difficult, and very convenient to get to, which is why I come here at least once a week. My only real complaint is the number of Canada Goose on the course. There are so many now that you have to constantly watch your step to avoid goose droppings everywhere. I saw nearly 40 baby geese during my round today alone, and the population just seems to keep growing every year. I like wildlife and do not want anything harmful done to them, but I do think the coun…

Had a really good time at this golf course, and the holes are actually approachable and good for those looking to improve. Unfortunately, I have to give a 1 star after reading previous reviews for those having a similar experience with an extremely rude middle aged white male who seems to give everyone attitude and get angry for numerous reasons. Our group is very new to the game, and with a group of 4 I would expect to take slightly longer per hole which we did, but he continued to accuse us of starting late (which we didn’t) and take too long to which I’m not sure how we could’ve gone much f…

Great course! The staff is also very friendly and the tee times are very organized! Never really had to wait at a tee box. I played there 3 times over my vacation and it was a blast. Also make a mean BLT.

My group were victims of the miserable man working there lol. Gave us a hard time for being slow even though we are all newer to the game. We were cognizant of a player behind us and made sure not to hold him up. Giving 2 stars because the course is actually enjoyable if you ignore the grumpy middle aged guy that might be working his shift on the day you come. Otherwise, we've had good experiences here.

I thought the 40 year old cart boy that was working the front desk was having a bad day until I read multiple other reviews about him and his attitude. My group immediately wanted to leave the course within 30 seconds of stepping into the clubhouse. The guy was rude and talked down to everyone because this is likely the first time in his life he’s had any power. 2 stars because the course is maintained and had some fun holes

Pretty fun course. It's definitely been around a while and with a few of the holes you can tell there were previous pvc tunes. But for 7 or 8 dollars it's a pretty good deal.

Spectacular well maintained course with friendly faces. Best challenging greens I have seen in years. Run don't walk to play this nine.

A perfect close by 9 hole course with friendly and professional staff. Well maintained and reasonable price. The only downside is the relatively short distance yardage but its a great place to practice.

Usually a fan of this place and the folks working there but today the middle aged, red cheeked guy at the front desk had a real bad attitude. The guy either hates his job or thinks he’s working at pinehurst. Decided to go play another course where I wouldn’t be such an inconvenience to Chad

The course itself is lovely. The man at the front desk is awful. He very rudely emphasized that we were late multiple times despite being there 10 mins early, carried on about the time the next people were teeing off. His attitude was nasty and he had zero interest in customer service. As convenient as this course is to my home and as cute as the course is I can’t imagine spending money here again. The course marshal was a reflection of the front desk clerk. He also came and harassed our group repeatedly despite the players after us being two holes away. The whole experience gave me the ick. T…

Solid muni public 9 hole golf course, great variety hole design and slight to little elevation changes so great for walking the course. Greens are in good shape but some tee boxes need some TLC
