This is a very nice 9 hole course with a good putting green. They do NOT have a driving range...but they do have an 8 stall practice area where you can hit regular golf balls into a net. It's about $5 for 40+ balls. There's also three indoor stalls where you can hit into a tarp and one stall with a Trackman simulator.

Played Pinecrest GC today and really enjoyed my round. The greens were in fantastic shape compared to other green in the area. The golf holes were challenging and asked you to be on target. Staff was friendly. I'd love to play here again. Here are a couple pictures of their warm up net and very nice and large chipping and putting green.

I've played Pinecrest 44 times over the last two years. The course is always in great shape, and the staff has always been very courteous and helpful. It is a challenging 9 home course, with lots of elevattion, and some tricky greens! Worth the time for a 20+ handicapper like me.

Great small course, it's perfect to practice your short game. The Cafe has pretty good food. In picture is a grilled hame and cheese with tomato.

At most courses when a single players gets to the starter they almost always pair you with other players when space is available. At Pinecrest, it doesn't seem like the starters make any effort at all to pair up singles and leave it up to the individual players to make the contact and determine who they are playing with. Individual players have no idea who is out in front of them and who is playing or waiting for others to show up. Today, when I got to the starter, he asked ME to find out if the other single that was waiting to tee off wanted to play with me. We actually paired up with anothe…

The very top value of the Fairfax County muni courses. A gorgeous, challenging, well-maintained 9-hole course with two Par 5s, four Par 4s, and three Par 3s. A beautiful little course for 20-something bucks.

Fun and well maintained executive course with surprisingly quick greens. Tight fairways so hit your spots. Clubhouse has great food. Recommend the sweet potato fries for sure!

Just played 9 - challenging course for sure - the greens were fast with no bite and and some crazy pin placements - fun and frustrating at the same time!

Pinecrest Golf Course in Alexandria, VA, is a fantastic 9-hole course that strikes the perfect balance between challenge and fun. The greens are slightly challenging, with just enough slope to keep you on your toes, but they’re not overly fast, which I appreciate. The layout is compact yet varied, making it ideal for a quick yet fulfilling round of golf. The first par 5 is a standout hole—it's an excellent birdie or even eagle opportunity, and it's always exciting to kick off the game with that momentum. The staff is friendly, and the course is well-maintained, showing a real commitment to pro…

My wife and I had 10:40am tee time. After we check in at 10:30am and went to the 1st tee, the starter already had other person to put in our places. She said too bad and that we should have come 30 min prior to our tee time and said that is a rule. This place is so money greedy that even if you book the tee time and show up in 10 min prior , you are out. They will put anyone who pays money in your place unless you come 30 min prior to your tee time. This a public course in Fairfax! We go to Twin Oaks, Jefferson, Oakmont and Burk lake golf courses. They are public courses in Fairfax. None of th…

Fun little nine hole course. Fairly tight fairways but very well maintained. Mostly a walking course. Carts are available with or without the squirrels

A very nice challenging 9 hole course. The grounds crew do an amazing job. The greens are fast compared to the other public Fairfax courses.
