Junction City Country Club

While stationed at Ft. Riley, we loved going to the GreatLife gym. Hours were whatever you wanted them to be. The facility was for the most part clean, and well maintained. They had everything you needed to get a good workout. The sauna was always working and super hot. The price for membership was fair. It was easy to cancel as well when we moved. Good place, good equipment, fair prices. Not to flashy, no roid rages throwing weights across the gym screaming, just people getting in good workouts.

They want an awfully lot of money for a really under maintained facility that hasn't been cleaned in literal months. Broken gym equipment, broken saunas, this place is vacant. I took plenty of pictures and videos. I came back for a quick visit to see if any improvements have been made to the gym (as promised) and it has unbelievably gotten worse. A new sign. That's it. I'd rather go to planet fitness. Less free weights, but at least they care about their members and equipment is usually fixed within 24 hrs.

I have honestly got to say i thought this was a great gym. But then they tried to wrongfully sue my husband for taking something he did not. We waited around for 3 weeks before they decided to drop the charges because they found out who really took it. I get it my husband is black but not all black guys look the same so dont just assume that the first black person you meet steals. We will never be coming to the gym ever again and i hope yall get shut down. People shouldnt be discriminated against because of color, or anything else. And yall wrongfully judged him. I had been warned that this course had recently become fairly rough, but I was not prepared for this disaster. The people in the clubhouse were rude and acted as though I was putting them out. Once on the course (with no maps available) it was almost impossible to distinguish between fairways and out of bounds. At one point we hit onto the wrong green because we couldn't tell where the fairways were! 2 of the fairways were completely plowed up and there was no warning given. After hitting onto the fairway you had to retrieve your ball and move it out of bounds to play. I don't think I'll be go…

The golf course is in really terrible condition. There is literally no fairway. It’s all dirt and weeds. The only reason why I am giving three stars is because the staff is very friendly and personable. This is the closest course by my house, so I will use this course as good practice. If you can hit your irons in their “fairways,” you can hit them anywhere. Lol

Moved out of state. Tried to cancel account and was fed a line that they can’t cancel once it has started. No respect to customers lousy representatives and not able to call because voice mailbox has not been established. Lousy business.

Not very clean. Always appears to be in disarray, entry door not secure (computer locking system not engaged). Convenience is only attrapute. Not worth the fee charged. Great Life should look into this franchise.

Absolutely terrible , fairways are like an overgrown patchy trailer park back yard , greens not cut or rolled in years and are so scarred can’t get a true roll on the ball , cart paths are barely driveable and in some places not at all ,no pro shop items whatsoever only sell snacks and used golf balls , not worth spending money at this place . If I could give zero or a negative amount of stars I would . Highly recommend not playing here.

Is okay for basic exercising goals.. but something is always broken and out of order.. women's sauna has been out of order for long long time.. half the weights are always missing and the place itself isn't very clean.

3 Stars for 24/7 Access, no green fees to walk the course, and membership applicable to every other Great Life. The JC place is a bit run down, pool is a bit tiny and usually full of kiddos (not Great Life's fault) and the course is in BAD shape (though I see effort to make it better).

The door doesn’t even lock any more making it open to non members and unsafe, equipment is always broken and there’s never staff at the front desk during open hours. Been trying to cancel my membership all week but nobody is there and the phone just rings and rings.
