Such a beautiful place to spend time! The course is wonderfully maintained, but what really sets it apart is the peaceful atmosphere. It is a scenic layout with an abundance of wildlife, and having the sound of birds chirping around you while you play makes for a relaxing round. On top of that, the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend playing here if you enjoy great golf and nature.

What a great public course. I've played here twice now and enjoy it a lot. The staff are always courteous and even walking up to inquire about getting on the course as a single, I haven't had to wait at all. A few thoughts about the course: 1. The fairways and greens are zoysia. In the fairway, balls sit up perfectly almost every time. In the rough you can expect the ball to settle down at least half the height of the ball, making getting the ball out challenging. The zoysia greens are very firm and quick. I love putting on them because the run fast and true. 2. There are many doglegs on the…

The course was way overpriced for the quality of the course. Staff was unfriendly. One staff member walked up to our cart opened a bag we had looking for alcohol. We did not bring any alcohol. I feel they just assumed we were up to no good due to us being college students. Rented clubs were in poor condition. So much so that the head on my pitching wedge was able to spin around the shaft.

Spoke at a meeting at the Stagg Hill Golf Club . The Manager, Chad, was presenting his tournament for an organization and had the entire group organized and ready on time and lined up well. He is very thorough in preparation. Course was in great shape and looked amazing despite some dry weather recently. Well done!

Being an older course we weren't sure what to expect when playing here for the first time but I'm glad we stopped. Course is pretty challenging with lots of large trees around. Course was in great shape when we played and pace was quicker than average. Course is laid out nice with lots of dogleg holes.

Their website said $50 per person when I booked. They charged $72 when we checked in at the course, and were very rude about it. Also very overpriced for course conditions

What a gem. Very nice layout that offers some real challenges. Enough straightforward holes that let you air out the driver and plenty that challenge your long irons. Be prepared to test you ability to curve the ball both ways. The greens are in superb condition and are very fast. Thanks to the staff and other golfers for making us feel like it was our home course. Will be back.

Staff was very friendly. Grounds of the golf course were maintained well and course added some difficulty but with a little skill the player should be fine. I am NOT a good player and I had fun and stayed out of the trees for most of my round. Will definitely play there again.

The course is alright for the area at best. They really try to be more than what they are. The number one rule they have is absolutely no fun allowed. If possible try Colbert or Rolling meadows over this place.

When I was a student st KSU I took a summer class here. The class was amazing and helped me enhance my golf skill. I just visited as an alumni, 8 years later. The course is well maintained, although very leafy, pretty much wide open, and fun to play. The staff is excellent and I highly recommend Stagg Hill.

This course really is a gem. The most polite, friendly, and considerate staff that I have EVER interacted with at any golf club nation wide. We have our annual golf weekend back home every year (Junction City) and Rolling meadows staff needs to take some serious notes from Stagg Hill. Needless to say, Stagg Hill will be our new location for our annual golf weekend.
