Tour Quality Conditions: Visiting the Grounds at Kapolei The Smartgolfcourses team visited Kapolei Golf Club. You can tell why the LPGA played here—the conditions look top-tier. The clubhouse and restaurant areas are beautiful, and the water features near the first tee set a great tone. watched some smooth tee shots. A very polished experience. Congratulations to the entire team for maintaining such tournament-quality standards every day.

I visited KGC for a wedding photography and I was amazed by its beauty especially during the golden hours at the sunset time. The staff members were very helpful for pointing out where is a photogenic location to shoot at, and prepared a golf cart for us in a very timely manner. The food and catering service was very pleasant as well. If you like a wedding venue with AC, and all in one location for the ceremony & reception, I highly recommend considering Kapolei Golf Club for your wedding day.

Course was in ok shape. Coming from Scottsdale, I expected a $200 course to be in better shape. I only have pictures of the good parts

I don’t typically write reviews, but this experience was disappointing given the reputation of the course. We paid $210 USD to play what is marketed as a PGA-level golf course, so expectations were understandably high. The course itself is beautiful, but the management and small details fell far short of that standard. Before our round we went to the range and were required to hit off turf without tees. When we moved to the side to hit driver, we were yelled at and told we had to go to the clubhouse to pay $3 USD (cash only) for a small tee to use on the turf. For a course charging over $200…

Great course, beautiful scenery. Perfect fairways and greens. Only issue was the sand traps were being worked. Definitely recommend adding this to your golf trip in Hawaii!!

Starters constantly telling players about pace of play prior to tee off. Course is overbooked. There is an extreme delay in the pace of play with no marshalls to ensure that the pace of play is maintained. Total time played exceeded 5 hours as a single player. Members won’t let you play through. After the first 9, we spoke to a few employees at the course (starter & pro shop) who said that if we wait another 10 minutes it’ll clear up a bit. Just prior to this, another 4 players went to hole 10 which created an even further backlog. Even on an earlier par 3, there were 4 groups playing/waitin…

The course itself was in great condition and we enjoyed the round. However, we accidentally left a piece of clothing that we had purchased at the pro shop in the golf cart. We called the club within 30 minutes, and we were told they would check and get back to us, but we never received any follow-up. For a prestigious golf club, the lack of communication and sense of responsibility from the staff was disappointing.

The staff here was very friendly. I was playing by myself with my wife as a rider. The starter let me go out ahead of my time so that it could be just her and I. The pace here isn’t bad for such a popular course. I really liked the layout of the course. Not many houses which is a big plus for me. I highly recommend checking this course out.

I’ve always enjoyed Kapolei Golf Club and play here almost every weekend, which made this past visit especially disappointing. During our Sunday round (10am–2pm), our group was approached by a course marshal on Hole 3 who rudely told us we were behind pace, despite multiple groups directly in front of us and no opportunity to play faster. To make matters worse, it was a cart-path-only day, so naturally every group on the course was moving slower than usual. The marshal then hovered alongside us for the entire hole, which was uncomfortable and unnecessary. The same marshal returned again on H…

The course was in great shape! It wasn’t a really busy day so I was able to go out by myself with my wife riding along and we had a fantastic time

A true hidden gem. Went on a Tuesday afternoon. Course had very few people on it. Course was the closest to perfect I’ve seen on Oahu. Beautifully manicured, almost no divets, and everything was green. The bathrooms were extremely clean. On the majority of the holes I didn’t see anyone. It almost felt like a private course! The course was challenging but very fun. The fees were on par with the rest of the island for residents. The employees at the club house were super helpful and inviting. Fees, came with cart and a small bucket of balls for the range. I’m truly shocked I didn’t see more peop…

We wanted to check out the restaurant as a possible venue for my bridal shower and without reservations, we were able to walk right in and were seated at a table with a beautiful view. Food was delicious, service was great, facilities were in wonderful condition. Ample parking as well.
