In summary

Katchiwano Golf & Country Club is appreciated for its friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere, and the noticeable improvements under new ownership, despite challenges from a dry season. The course offers a pleasant and scenic layout, with some fun and challenging holes, making it suitable for both beginners and casual players. However, some visitors feel the green fees are high given the current condition of the fairways and greens, and there are suggestions for further improvements in course maintenance and pricing.

You all have done great work cleaning up after this seasons drought. Course is back to being in good shape. 50% off green and cart fees for the end of the season has been awesome. Consider offering a membership option for next year please!

$75 course with cart but course is super dry! Played here early August and aside from greens, the fairways are brown and very very dry... so your ball rolls. More of a track to teach your kids or play a round with a bachelor party.

Playing at Katchiwano Golf Club is a real pleasure, starting with the very friendly folks who run it. They were challenged with a very dry summer, but were able to largely maintain the course at a good quality. Nice holes to play in the middle of nature. Great value while looking for a round to play, either while passing or staying in area.

Played for the first time this year and enjoyed the round. The course has improved dramatically over the last couple of years. Been playing here for years and it's great to see the new ownership taking an interest and making improvements!! Lots to work on , but coming along very well. Keep up the great work and this will be destination for folks to play.

Fairways are rock hard but that’s to blame on the weather, service was decent at the start of the round, but only saw the cart girl once. We were a bachelor party and expected to see more hydration. Food truck was expensive but food was good. Overall the price was too high for what we got.

Played a round of 9 today, it is still a nice little course. Friendly staff and nice course with some fun challenges, but still recommended for beginners/part timers. The weather this year has been unbelievably dry so the fairways are a bit on the dry side right now. It was still a great diversion when up in the Peterborough/Kawarthas cottage country region. Looking forward to playing again when up here again.

All our team can say is wow! The new owners for katchiwano Golf Club have really made this course a beauty, clean and well kept. It’s a great vibe and the staff are very pleasant and welcoming. This might be our new go-to course.

Course is improving but paying $175 for 2 with a cart considering what’s being spent and where the course is at? Not to mention a group of 5 adolescents allowed to tee off 5 minutes before our tee time? We just went off the back 9 but it is another example an owner or manager not understanding the customer experience. Take my opinion for what it is but I have spent the majority of my life in the golf business

There are new owners. I can see what there plans are and they look great. The greens are in very bad shape but that's due to nothing being done at the beginning of the season. Once they get in shape it will be a challenge to play. Nice that you have a defined fairway now not like before where it was all one level. Wish you luck on getting it in shape. The price was high for the shape of greens. Maybe 40 bucks till they get better.

We LOVE golfing at Katchiwano! Every time we’re there we notice all the hard work the team has done to improve the course conditions. It is our favourite place to go for a fun afternoon! Fair pricing, wonderful location and awesome staff. Can’t ask for anything better. Excited for the 2024 season!!

Staff are great, the course is 10x better than it's ever been. My only issue is the price increase was too much in my opinion. Over 60$ for one beer and 9 holes is a bit much when I can go to Pinecrest for the same thing and it's about 40$.

Truly rooting for the new owners/management/staff to continue to revitalize the course. Enjoyed a twilight round on Wednesday afternoon. The fairways and bunkers are in better shape than last year, however, the greens need some intensive care in nearly all instances. Several tee boxes need some TLC as well. I can appreciate the Promo rates (and this is a great initiative to maintain and gain new golfers), but even walking at Twilight, they could be reduced another 10% due to course conditions. Looking forward to returning later in the season to see how things progress. All the best to everyone…
