In summary

Kensington Pitch & Putt is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, challenging layout, and suitability for both beginners and experienced golfers. The course offers a scenic setting with varied elevations and ample parking, making it a popular choice for practice and leisure. However, some visitors have noted issues with staff interactions and outdated facilities, as well as occasional slow pace of play and long wait times during peak hours.

I've been playing here with friends for 20+ years. The course has always been challenging, but they keep it well maintained. My best round was couple years ago shooting 59. I had 6 birdies but many bogeys with couple double bogeys. There's always lots of parking, good shade in the summer.

Great course for beginners and veterans! Excellent place for some golf. 🏌️‍♂️ Not as busy as other pitch & putt places in Vancouver which is great. The staff were friendly and let us play with a group of 5. Normally you should keep groups 4 max, but because it wasn't as busy when my friends and I went and because we looked like we just came from a PGA tour, they let us do a group of 5.🤘 Plenty of parking at this lot as well. We will definitely be coming back again to hit some balls!

Best pitch & putt in the Lower Mainland for beginners/starters or those who simply want to work on their short games The greenskeeper for Kensington Pitch & Putt used to also be the greenskeeper for the other Burnaby courses (Riverway / Burnaby Mountain) and it definitely shows. Even the drainage there is pretty respectable so if it was a little rain/drizzle, it still plays well. I haven't played there when it was pouring rain (I'd rather do driving range or full course instead if it was horrific weather) The tee boxes will always be the mats (understandable for beginners), and the fairways/…

Definitely the best pitch n putt in the lower mainland. $11 for off season rates and the grass is always in much better condition than other pnp’s. good elevation difference to keep things interesting

Best of the 18 hole pitch and putt courses in the Vancouver area. Layout provides good variety and challenge. More challenging than Stanley Park P&P and makes good use of a "4 wedge and a putter" club setup. Fall 2025 aeration/ grounds maintenance is currently in progress. Course surfaces were just a bit shaggy this week.

Have played a few of the PPs in the Lower Mainland (Stanley Park, Central Park, Rupert) and was impressed by this one. The front 9 features holes 1 - 4 going up hill, 5, 6 coming down and while doing so offering up some great views. Back 9 goes through the trees and much flatter. Good conditions for PP (in that greens are thick and slow, fairways are green, but not just grass growing on them). Great little course to play and have fun. Don’t worry about pace of play, just enjoy those views!

I love coming to this place to relax and have fun. 🤙 Beautiful trees and well maintained grass and green. ⛳️ I love that some holes are a bit longer distances (110 yard) compared to other pitch and putt in Vancouver area. Twilight is a better deal but also expect a bit of wait time about 15-30min. 👍

Decent public course layout with some interesting elevation. Not very well maintained or run. Old outdated mats and clubhouse, city seems to be doing the bare minimum to keep it running. Need alot of TLC to keep with with other city pitch and putt courses.

Beautiful even in the winter time. But the grass was frozen so don't expect to play a test game game unless you are 🐯. But all in all a nice relaxing course.. Except for hole 7. Damm that hill drop 😂

Seedy operation. They first took our money then we found out there was a dozen plus kids that butted-in in front of us. The sign that says priority given to students is on the path after you pay. Easy enough, right? Since we didn’t know a refund would be simple and fair? No! No refund. The clerk at the desk was super rude and said rain check only which is useless to us since we can’t go back.

Enjoyed another fine 18 holes here today. I'm glad this course is open through the winter. They maintain it well. The winter greens are a bit sandy but play well. It's a challenging pitch and putt, so it makes for great practice. Thanks for all the work you do on this beautiful course.
