In summary

Kenwanda Golf Course is appreciated for its friendly staff, affordable prices, and scenic layout with rolling hills, making it a pleasant spot for a casual round of golf. However, many visitors express concerns about the course's maintenance, noting issues with the greens, fairways, and overall upkeep, which some feel detracts from the golfing experience. Despite these challenges, the course remains a popular choice for beginners and those looking to practice their game without focusing heavily on score.

Greens are very slow, fairways are parched, and course has "character." This course requires several rounds to figure out "best miss" bail out tactics. Nice for walking and a nice group of guys running the show. Prices are good. I would recommend this course as I will play here again as I visit here regularly.

The worst golf experience I have ever had. First, the course is very poorly maintained. The greens are un playable. Its no cheaper than any standard quality golf course. Its also doing beginners a disservice, because no golf courses are actually like this. We teed off at 330 and I asked when we had to be off the course and the pro shop said 630, no problem. When we got back to hole 1 the pro shop staff came and asked me what I was doing and acted like he caught me stealing. He said we already played, there was no twilight rate, and they had not done twilight for 5 years. You also have not mowe…

Beautiful golf course, lots of rolling hills and variety of holes to play. I played all 18 holes and walked about 7miles, so if you aren't looking for too much of a workout I recommend renting a cart. The food was great, the staff were very friendly, and altogether was a very nice visit.

If your just out to look to hack at golf balls and not really care about score, this is your place. It has great potential but needs some love to bring it up. Lost 3 bright colored I saw land in the fairway. Greens are quite slow. If you're learning the game of golf, come here to work on your game. Figure things out as it's better to learn on course than on the range as you'll have different lies, trees to work around, taller grass, and hazards.

Almost always able to walk on or get a tee time short notice. Fun course that generally isn't crowded. Great staff, good prices, decent beer selection. Certainly one of my favorite places to play a super casual round.

This has always bordered on a cow pasture course but I always found it useful as an extension of the driving range to improve a game. No flat lies, including some tee boxes, postage stamp greens, and you will use every club in the bag despite being a 5,000 yard short course. Had not been there for a few years and went back last week. it has "devolved". Fairway grass was not cut and the entire course looked shabby. Greens were not smooth and all rolled differently. I lost three balls within 20 feet of greens because the grass was so high. That was on the fairway side of the green. I want to say…

First time gomfing here. Very rough course in the sense of the many hills and bowls on the fairways. What I did like is its a driving course. Most of holes you can drive. As a new golfer, i enjoyed getting to work on my drive swing. Its inexpensive so a good day and not breaking the bank. The greens are slow and have a lot of weird drops. The course is only running 9 holes. They have 18 but the back 9 isn't open. Didn't ask if thats due to Covid or not.

Played nine holes today and couldn't believe how poor the conditions were. The teeboxes alone....holy s#@t (do they not mow?), fairways are super patchy and very undulated with weeds growing everywhere. The greens are probably the worst I have ever seen at any golf course, pitch marks galore with moss growing in spots, plus the ball rolls like it's in mud. The layout of the course and some of the views are probably the only redeeming qualities of the course, otherwise it was just a damn shame. To pay $18 plus tax for nine holes, felt like I was robbed.

I sent my father, husband and brother here yesterday for father’s day. They said the course was almost un playable in some spots bc it hasn’t been maintained, worse than when they’ve played before in the past. They mentioned it to the owner when they left and asked if they could get a discounted rate since we paid $120 for a course that they couldn’t even tee off in some spots. The owner said they were rich so it shouldn’t be a problem (very not true), and they could go play somewhere else if they didn’t like it - and was super classy and told them ‘f—k you guys’ as they left. We are totally u…

I agree with the other reviews, this is slightly less than a middle of the road golf course. There is dandelions all over the course, and the greens at times. Several areas that are totally muddy and roped off. There is really nothing special at all about this place. However.... I am a golf fanatic, so just getting out there is special. Go there to hit some balls and practice your game, but not for scenery, greens, fairways, or anything else really haha Oh, it actually would be a great place to go if you had kids! Just watch for other wild golfers, I don't think this is a low handicap golfer…

A little pricey for the conditions. It's a great course for beginners.

Great place early morning is great time to play. I have my GHIN card there, owners are excellent very good breakfast and lunch. Pretty tough course if you don't know it. Close to home always fun.
