In summary

Kinderton Country Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, challenging layout, and friendly staff, with many considering it a hidden gem in the area. The greens are often highlighted for their excellent condition, and the course offers a good value for money. While most reviews are positive, a few visitors have noted issues with hospitality and course maintenance, such as sloped tee boxes and thin fairways.

Showed up today with no experience at this course, and we were pleasantly surprised. The course was in great shape and not very crowded at all. There was nothing at all to complain about, and I agree with any previous reviews that call this place a hidden gem. It is not an easy course by any means, but it is both fair and enjoyable.

Me and my wife came here for a first golf experience for our 12 yr old niece and 14yr old nephew. We came from out of town for a week and I didn’t bring my clubs. They had golf clubs available for rent and they were very high-quality .We played 9 holes and we had a blast. We had a few singles play through our group, and everyone was very understanding and accommodating. The greens had just been aerated, but they still rolled great. And the fairways were beautiful. We will definatly be back if we’re in the area again.

Enjoyed this course. The greens are in great shape albeit a little slow. The fairways are plush. If you haven't played here, nor is the time.

Kinderton is one of the few 18 hole courses in south central VA that allows the public. Rates are extremely fair and the course is a solid track for most skill levels. Scratch to Plus handicaps are likely to dominate as its not very long. Greens are Bermuda, a little slow and very sloped and always a challenge for me as im used to bent greens that are a bit quicker. Overall def recommend if you're ever in the South Hill, Boydton, Clarksville area.

Located about an hour North of Durham NC, this is a GEM of a course. The course is in excellent shape and the greens are pristine. Green fees are reasonable and the Staff is friendly and helpful. Wonderful course! Highly recommended.

Played 18 on 10/30. Course was in good shape for this late in season. Greens are small and putted pretty well. Staff was awesome and very helpful.

Nice track! Affordable, well maintained, greens are fantastic, a decent challenge for your average golfer with a friendly staff. You won't go wrong from coming here.

Played here twice last week (tournament), nice track that I wouldn't want to walk 😁. Lots of hills and valleys, most greens are a challenge to putt because of the slopes. Greens and (most) fairways are n excellent shape. One downside - 2 of the Black tee boxes are sloped downhill ; this is really a problem on #9 which is a severe uphill tee shot and one of the higher handicap holes.

One of the most beautiful golf courses I've ever been to. It's a full 18 holes and they are quite challenging. The staff is friendly and their extra activities are fun. There's even a pool for non-golfers to enjoy

The course is leaps and bounds above any in the area. Really tough to play the first time. There are several blind shots. The greens are in great shape and play faster than any in the area. Definitely a course that plays easier when you know where to place each shot. Great value for the money. I will definitely play there again.
