In summary

Lake Arlington Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained conditions, challenging and interesting layout, and friendly, helpful staff, offering great value for the price. The course features unique holes and a scenic setting, making it enjoyable for both novices and experienced players. However, some visitors have expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of a driving range and strict policies regarding accompanying non-playing children.

Lake Arlington Golf Course is probably one of the best public courses in the area, especially for the price. The only thing I’d say they lack is a driving range. Aside from that, the overall experience is great. The course itself is well maintained, challenging, and extremely fun to play, with interesting holes and great use of the landscape. It really makes you think through your shots and can help improve your overall game. One thing I really appreciated was the active ranger presence throughout the course. They do a great job ensuring pace of play, keeping groups moving, and helping maint…

I need to give credit where credit is due. I've been playing this course off and on for 25+ years. It has certainly had its ups and downs (like all courses), but I was certainly impressed with the course today. This review is regarding my round on 7/27/2025. First of all, the $52 weekend green fees are certainly reasonable compared to the going rate at a variety of DFW courses. I found my golf cart to be in pretty good shape, and it had the yardage/GPS screens included. I've paid plenty more than that at other courses without the GPS perk. There were also additional storage cubbies near the ro…

This was my first time playing this course. And ohh am I'm hooked. What a well kept course. The green were very consistent. Fairways borderline with gorgeous trees. And lots of trouble. And you will need to position your ball for the next shot a lot of blind spots and there's no hole the same. Just what a awesome course. And wait the staff was amazing. I didn't have a tee time in the Pro Shop got me out. So if you haven't played here I would definitely suggest you check it out!!!

Incredible course for the price. Fun layout, risk vs reward shots are plentiful, and well kept greens, fairways, and tee boxes. I have played Lake Arlington for 20 years now, and I keep coming back.

Great layout for course. First thought it was weird to mot have bunkers then then the fairways were lined with trees and greens were well protected by slopes and undulating greens. Would and will play again.

Trying to play golf today was Absolutely the worst experience EVER, the manger was absolutely rude and arrogant beyond belief starting with my very first encounter with him! I would not recommend that anyone waste your time & money at Lake Arlington Golf Coarse like I did ….I will never go back! It so Sad to see such disappointing disgraceful person representing this coarse in our city.

I love golfing at new courses. I typically don't golf east of Fort Worth to often since I live west of Weatherford. We bought the Idealgolfer coupon and played on a Wednesday afternoon. It was a hot one, but I thought course had character. A handful of unique holes. Not super challenging, but trees and water come into play on serveral holes. This course looks ideal for the walking player. I would return and play another round.

Great golf course. Very wide but the fairways are right next to each other. Beautifully designed so make sure you read the history in the pictures below

The course was in good condition. Marshals were friendly and pleasant. Everyone was stacked up on each other though, so it's a fast pace and don't have much time to shake off a bad shot.

One of my favorite courses and a great value for the course you get to play. Well taken care of for the most part but the carts can sometimes run low on battery

Awesome, "always available to help staff." Pristine maintenance throughout the property creating excellent flight attributes. D. Alvarez CLSSMBB. I play 2-3 times a week for over a decade here. The course is just fine everywhere.
