In summary

Woodhaven Country Club is appreciated for its challenging layout with elevation changes and mature trees, and many find the course enjoyable and the staff welcoming. The club offers a range of amenities, including a driving range and a swimming pool, with membership fees considered reasonable by some. However, there are significant concerns about course maintenance, with reports of poor greens and neglected facilities, as well as mixed experiences regarding staff professionalism and overall management.

I used to be a former worker of this club back in 2002. I helped with the golf cart maintenance. The people here were really nice. On the days the club was closed I remember cleaning up the club and members were our volunteering to help us. It's a great, fun, and challenging course. The club was going downhill in 2004. It's great to see people still enjoying this place and it is fighting to making a comeback. If you are looking for a Colonial, shady oaks, those types of clubs atmosphere, ts not here. I was a member at Shady Oaks up to 1993. My grandfather had the membership and our family was…

Good track to have fun and practice your game. Has a lot of dog legs which present a decent challenge for most golfers. At just over 6400 yards from the blue tees, it's a short track which allows long hitters to get creative on some tee shots. Its winter here now so grass is dormant but still in good shape for a Texas public course. Greens read pretty good and roll true. I'll be back to check it out in the spring.

We played here twice on an Ideal Golfer deal, and really enjoyed it. This is a really pretty older course, and it was in good condition both times we played it. There are lots of elevation changes and mature trees. On the front nine there are also a lot of cool houses visible (but never in play). Although it's not a long course, there are plenty of shots that require good course strategy. The practice area was nice, and included a short game area, chipping area, nice driving range and good putting green. The clubhouse guy was super nice both times we played here, and went out of his way to m…

I have lived in Fort Worth for 30 years, and I can not believe I did not know about this place. The course was in great shape. Nice fairways, and tee boxes and the greens played true. I really enjoyed the elevation changes on the course, and the membership fee's are very reasonable. I liked how it was not crowed like a lot of the golf now courses get.

The course is improving. The greens are starting to fill in (minus a few that they are still fixing patches on), but it's looking better. Good job grounds crew. They also need to electronically keep carts 50 yards from the greens. I see too many carts parked next to the greens or running straight up fairways. This course was previously in bad shape and now that it's improving they need to protect their progress.

OLD: Had a great time & good food & it’s open to public to dine❗️ NEW: Former owner ran it into the ground, not good at all to hard working staff, (routinely fired them & accused one of stealing….she didn’t!)! He ruined it, then sold it to a new owner that is still saying they’re going to do something & it’s going to pot! Now nobody can play golf there anymore, it’s closed… Very sad for the property owners, it used to be beautiful!

The golf course is in great condition! Country club is under new management and they're making positive changes throughout. Great place for a family to join. Good food, swimming pool, golf, full service driving range, golf academy, great staff, all for about $200 per month. I think they even have summer memberships

Older course. Not too bad shape. A little TLC and it could be real good. Greens were true. Very challenging course, lots of doglegs and very tight . Staff was great. Played on ideal golfer member for a day. Play at least once.

Owners of golf course have not maintained it. Greens are dead and water system has not worked for two seasons. My understanding is swimming pool cannot be used, restuarant has basically been closed down and tennis courts have not been maintained. Staff has either quit or been terminated. Would not recommend joining this club.

I am very disappointed. I bought a "Member for a day" coupon from Ideal Golfer to try out this course. From the start you could tell that it was a struggling club in need of maintenance and repair everywhere. The staff were rude and unprofessional. The treat you like you were bothering them and their members by being there. The members were upset that we were there as well and loudly comment to each other with negative comments about us being there. The fact that they issued member of the day passes is to get more members and they failed big time. The course is awful and I don't see why anyone…

My nephew and I decided to play a round of golf and found this place on Golfnow app. I paid roughly $90.00 for 2 player green fee with a cart. Upon arrival, the course was not very busy so the pace of play was good. This being a country club, I would’ve thought the course would be in good, if not better, condition then what it was. First, I had to do a walk around the golf cart to identify damages, if there was any, prior to getting the keys almost like picking up a rental car. This was the first for me even having been at other country clubs. After getting the cart, the score card didn’t even…

Edit 2021: This poor course is so under cared for and dilapidated. I have to take my review from 4 stars down to 1... great track that has bones but someone has to care for it. Original 2016: Really nice course and recently under new (although they are former owners) ownership. Shiny new upgrades are expected in the coming year so get in while it's still affordable!
