In summary

Lake Panorama National Golf Course is highly praised for its well-maintained course, scenic views, and friendly, attentive staff. The layout offers a variety of challenges suitable for different skill levels, and the Stay and Play program is noted as a great value. While the food and service at the clubhouse receive positive remarks, some visitors mention limited drink options and occasional staff issues.

We had a great time using their Stay and Play program! We stayed for two nights, and played 9 holes one day and 18 the next. The pro shop staff was helpful and fun. A couple of things I noted: The whole staff was super friendly. Pro shop, Drink shack, Starter and Rangers. The course was well maintained. Greens were perfect, few weeds and the grasses were all cut. The starting hole (and turn) has a drink shack with bathrooms. ..but no one riding around with drinks. The course played well for a guy with a slice and a high handicap. Which was refreshing! There are restrooms about where I needed…

This course is a gem. I almost don't want to say it because I love how uncrowded it is. For the $$ you almost can't beat it. A hidden gem of a golf course not all that far from Des Moines

Golf Pro is very rude and thinks highly of himself. Seems like everyone here thinks there better then common people. Would not recommend going to this golf coarse

We went south spring of 2012 to golf and thoroughly enjoyed the place. Staff was wonderful & and the course was 2-3 weeks ahead of southern MN. Resort was older but clean and comfortable. Great value for the price!

The course was in great shape and the Senior rate for 18 & cart was only $31. The greens held approach shots making for an enjoyable round. Some of rhe Par 4-s can be a little long for a Senior but it makes for a good challenge! Give this course a try!

Really loved the layout, you get a little bit of everything with this course. There are plenty of scoring opportunities if you can keep your ball in the fairway. The greens are humbling though, plenty of undulations and tiers to keep you guessing. Look forward to playing it again.

Our server Emily was super cool and friendly but the chicken I got was not very good and beer section is somewhat limited. All in all, it was a pretty good experience. Just don't order chicken strips! Lol

Lake Panorama National Golf Course offers a stay and play opportunity which is one of the best values in the heartland. The championship golf course offers tees to challenge any golfer. The greens are large and undulating making shot placement most important. The course conditions are consistently top notch. We’ve had groups of 12 to 24 over the years and appreciate coming here. If you enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with a staff which is attentive, friendly, and focused on providing an exceptional experience, then you will enjoy LPN.

Never disappointed. Food service at clubhouse is top shelf and spot on for great food at a fair price. Shey (sp ?) Didn't let our drinks run out once. Will be back!
