In summary

Lakeside Golf Club in central Iowa is frequently praised for its well-maintained greens, which many consider among the best in the state. The course offers a mix of playability and challenge, with water hazards and tree-lined fairways adding to its appeal. Visitors appreciate the friendly and accommodating staff, although some have noted issues with the fairways, particularly after rain, and mention that the course can be somewhat pricey for a rural location.

This course is a great nine hole gem in central Iowa and has some of the best greens around. The new owner is really putting a ton of work into the course and the payoff is noticeable. It's very playable but there's also plenty of challenges with water hazards coming into play on 3 of the 9 holes.

This is a nice little 9 hole course. Nothing too difficult about it. The greens are in excellent shape. The fairways have had a rough year. Friendly people, and definitely worth your time.

The greens are some of the best in the state bar none I understand he had a little trouble with his water pump this year and the fairways had some damage on it but it is a great little golf course to go play and for $25 you can't beat that support this golf course and go play it

100% - Do not go to this hidden gem. I found it, it's mine now. Also, your wife will be mad because you played 36 instead of 18. =) Awesome staff, well kept course. 10/10 would recommend you don't steal my spot. Please and thank you. Check it out though. 😎👍

Pricey for a country course, but it's a great course with long fareways. Holes 1 & 2 can be soggy after rain. Nice folks running it.

A nice lightly wooded, slightly hilly small rural town course, enjoyable to play. Club house is a bit small.
