In summary

Cedar Pointe Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained greens and fairways, friendly staff, and welcoming clubhouse atmosphere. The course layout is generally appreciated, with some noting the open fairways and varying difficulty between the front and back nine. However, there are criticisms regarding the driving range's availability and quality, inconsistent policies, and occasional management issues. Some visitors also find the course pricing to be on the higher side for a public course.

Cedar Pointe golf course was an excellent spot. The greens and fairways were in excellent condition; the person working the counter was nice and got us sorted out quickly. The fairways are very open, so it's easy to slice a way right and still be playing. There was a hole or two where houses were tight on the right side that made it challenging. Overall, I plan on going back next year several times. One of the best courses I've played in the area!

Well maintained 18 hole course. Lots of water, sand and long grass hazards!

Nice course, but driving range is consistently closed at peak times and often times when hitting balls there are workers on the range and it is a distraction and safety issue. $10 for a bucket is excessive considering the poor quality of the balls and the range machine doesn't fill the basket to the top. Green fees went up and now I will look for alternate courses. The short game area, including sand trap is only for college team use! And it's always empty! Very Frustrating!! Advice: Post range closing times online, lower LG Bucket of balls to $8, get new range balls, open short game area to E…

It's a beautiful open fairway course. It's not too difficult and would be great for golfers of all stature. Staff is super friendly, and the course is very maintained! Come out and play a round at cedar pointe. You won't regret it.

Picked up a morning tee time and really enjoyed it. Tee boxes and greens were in great shape. Staff was friendly. Back 9 was definitely harder than the front. Only negative I could find was the sand was a little rocky and hard. Otherwise this is a little gem.

Nice course. A little pricey for a public in town but we were there on a holiday.

The golf course is an average small town course. Not bad maintenance and an ok layout. The staff was friendly but the manager was out of control. There are ten times better courses around for the same price. I would never come back until they fire the manager.

I actually stopped coming here 2 years ago. I used to come all the time and the price was fair. I was really encouraged with new ownership fixing things. For me to golf at this stage in life, I need to bring my 3 and 6 year old to ride along. It was never an issue before and I certainly wouldn’t be upset paying a little extra for them to ride along in a golf cart as they don’t play, but I was told I would have to pay an extra cart and full golf fees for both the 3 and 6 year old. I explained my shock and tried to make sense of even paying a second golf cart fee when neither of them could drive…

First time coming to this course, it is a very good course well maintained. Good prices and good organization! Club house was very nice and helpful. If Jolie is working she will brighten your day and be sure to help you with anything you need! Definitely coming back often!

So this was my first experience trying out Cedar Pointe golf course in Boone. As soon as I arrived I instantly felt very welcomed and enjoyed being around the clubhouse when I was in there. The club manager, Joli was very sweet and was a lot of fun. I loved hearing the oldies around the bar considering it felt a lot more comfortable. So don't hesitate and get out there asap!

Nice 18 hole course. Not much for mature trees on the back 9, and the front 9 is petty tight. We ran into several nice people. You can't be in a hurry at a course like this..... you're stuck in a line up.

Basic course, tee boxes and fairways arent in good shape. The front has established trees, the back does not so it's always windy. The saving grace for this course was the greens. They were in perfect shape. Mondays with a cart it's $28 for 18. Can't beat that.
