Came here to use the driving range. This property is very well-maintained, probably top 3 in my short experience with golf. I also like the ball dispenser vs. having to go into the clubhouse to purchase a certain bucket size like other places. You just pay to fill it up as much as you want. I get tired quickly (because I have a bad swing) so I don't need a full basket. My hubs ends up giving whatever he doesn't use to others anyway. Nice place! Not much interaction with staff which is A-OK for us.

Love this course! SUPER good maintenance, fun design, and absolutely delivers a Links experience you can’t really find elsewhere on Iowa courses.

Played Coldwater for the fist time today and wow! Worth the extra couple bucks. The greens were soft and receptive despite how dry it's been. Staff was nice and the pace was good. That being said, this is a players course so either hit the fairway or bring 20 balls. My driver woke up this morning and chose fairways so I went low today. So much fun! I'll be back! Also RIP Celia. Look at these fairways, so green!

I don't feel rather safw with how fast the people in the golf karts are driving, especially when they're crossing the public trail path. One individual almost hit me and didn't seem very apologetic about it either.

Great links course , great coach on site in Jason, greens crew is phenomenal but the range balls are basically a scam. Horrible quality

I really enjoy this course. It has been in great shape all summer. I'm not much of a walker, but this is a course that's an easy walk and i don't mind walking here. Nice club house and friendly staff. Good practice area as well. Its really nice to have a driving range that is the same condition (great!) as you'll find the fairways.

What a beautiful course. This was my first time, and I only played the front 9. I look forward to coming back to play a full 18.

The nicest, kindest and most genuine team here at Coldwater. The course is beautiful and well maintained. They really care about wha they do, take care of their visitors and provide exceptional customer service. The view is gorgeous! A great course and team - Ames is lucky to have such a great place to play golf!

Went here for a company golf outing, and they did a fantastic job catering to us. We had 60ish people attend, and they handled us no problem. I can’t say much about the course itself, because I’m not really a golfer. That being said, we played best shot and I did have a lot fun. There are challenges to the course, but not so bad that I couldn’t keep up. It’s over all a fun time, and would definitely be back!

Golf courses in really good shape that's the first time that I have played this golf course and was pleasantly surprised Greens rolled very good tees and fairways were in good shape as well I really like links style courses looking forward to going back if you haven't played it I highly recommend that you do.
