Lake Spanaway Golf Course

I hadn’t played Lake Spanaway in over 15 years. Had the first tee time of the day on a Sunday. Received a great experience in the pro shop. Easy to check in and friendly. Overall the course was in good shape, the greens were great and the areas that shouldn’t be hit off of had been marked by a white line. Plenty of spots could have been better, but overall if you keep the ball in the fairways there won’t be many complaints. I can only rate this course as a rider. The course is in good shape and is pretty. The pro shop staff were professional. The women's bathroom could have used some attention since there was fecal matter on the back of the lid. When I passed the restaurant area, I observed a lady sitting on the counter talking to a customer. This is unacceptable behavior, people eat there. The pace of play was slow as well.

pretty good older track which means the greens are very nice. just very very slow pace of play. people need to be aware of other golfers. if you’re a foursome with two younger players and there’s a single player behind with almost two holes open in front of you, you might think of letting that person play through instead of pretending they’re not there. just a thought.

This is my first experience at a true golf range and I was lucky to have a guide. We stopped in the bar for a drink to warm us up. I enjoyed a cup of coffee with a shot of Bailey’s and we checked out the pro shop too. Had a cool clubhouse feel. My boyfriend already had a preloaded card to get golf balls for the range and we spent 2 hours practicing driving, putting, chipping on a beautiful Sunday. I had a good time watching someone with such passion for learning this game and it felt addicting!! Definitely contagious and I’d like to try the lessons they offer there at the golf course!

Very tight course with a bunch of trees.... not much ob but you can get lost in them. Kids had a great day playing here for the us kids golf 🏌🏻‍♂️ course is a bit dated inside but well worth a round.... the secret spot is a chipping area off of 10 great spot to warm up plenty of parking for an Rv as well bonus ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Municipal course in Spanaway. Reasonably priced. Wider fairways in good condition; not a lot of elevation changes. Greens seemed softer and just slightly bumpy, even as it dried out. Pretty well maintained. Some bunkers and water hazards, but this is a straightforward course and there are birdie opportunities all over. A significant amount of tall trees throughout, but the course is not covered in them like some others I have played in the Northwest. The driving range is in very close proximity to the Clubhouse & 1st tee. Nice course.

Fairways were in good shape, only a few wet/mush spots, but alot of the greens had dead grass spots all over and alot of them had almost like little mogul hills through the greens... I've golfed there numerous times and the greens were never like this... hopefully they can get it fixed soon.

Great place, needs updates, the driving range needs a big update. The club house needs a huge overhaul too. The golf course is nice. Would definitely play again. Pricing is fair and the people who work here are nice making it an overall good experience.

Always a good experience, I only play when I get a deal because otherwise it is expensive for a public course
