Played here a few times. Nice placement course. Only complaint i have is the driving range itself. Could use some targets out there. Chipping green is really nice as well as the putting green.

Course is in pretty decent shape. For a military course - layout is pretty basic with some tighter tee shots and taxing approach shots. Greens are fairly soft but a bit slow. Pictures highlight holes 1-6.. rough isn’t too long but can be long whispy under the tall trees. Clubhouse tenant was polite and helpful. There is zero drinking water on the course and there was limited snacks or drinks avail prior to starting.

Nice course to play. Choose your time wisely or be prepared to have people play on top of you. The grounds are well kept and common areas clean. Check the hours for food if you plan to get something to eat after the first 9. They were closed up by 2. The day we were there Friday the 3rd. The young lady working the register could not put her phone down even made an error ringing our stuff up.

Very nice golf course for the price. The bunkers are a mess, but it didn’t really bother us. Rental clubs should be updated, they are pretty beat. Cart we received was not cleaned out. Nice thing about this course is that the alcohol is decently priced. $6 for beers and $6 for shots.

A nice course! Fairways a little rough in places but all but 1 green were in great shape. Only complaint is they let a lot of singles out instead of pairing them up.

First and foremost, the greens are awesome! All of the holes are well manicured and some of the holes can be quite challenging. The golf shop is nice to shop at! I would have given them five stars overall, but the Marshall kept bugging us to hurry along. He did it not only once but three times. We tried our best to accommodate his request but each time he left us we were scratching our heads. Every time he approached us, I would look back to see where the people were at (Who we were supposedly holding up), AND THEY WERE NOT EVEN WAITING ON US! In fact, they were still playing on their own hole…

Okay coarse but pace of play amongst the old dependents community has gotten to be ridiculous. Those of us that are actually stationed here have to basically beg for a tee time before noon.

Subject: Formal Complaint Against Whisper Firs Golf Course Employee Dear Whisper Firs Golf Course I am submitting a formal complaint regarding the unprofessional conduct of an employee at Whisper Firs Golf Course. During multiple phone interactions, I was verbally assaulted, repeatedly hung up on, and ultimately told not to call back. As a retired military veteran, I have never encountered such behavior from someone representing an establishment affiliated with the armed forces. The employee stated that he has been working there for over ten years. His name was Steve, this isn’t the first…

played yesterday nice course a little wet in certain areas but didn't make it an issue for our group. Be on your game to get through some of the challenging holes. Worth the trip to play. Just make sure you have your insurance card and registration up to date along with your driver's license. Or they won't let you in.

I really like the concept of the course design but modern tech has taken away from the experience. Every dog leg hole needs to be lengthened from the blues. Very firm and slow greens. Ball lands just over the front are short, but land 10 feet on and you'll often be long. I'd make the greens faster or softer. And I didn't see any drinking water out there. This course could really be great, but I get it. It is what it is... Good shot makers course. Need to really play smart and accurately.

Great course and nice staff, but every time we go the fellow players have low to no etiquette on the course.
