In summary

Lakewood Golf Course is appreciated for its unique countryside setting, well-maintained greens, and relaxed atmosphere, making it a pleasant spot for both beginners and seasoned golfers. The course is noted for its challenging layout with significant elevation changes and a friendly staff that enhances the overall experience. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about the condition of the fairways, the steep pricing for a 9-hole course, and occasional issues with customer service at the pro shop.

Very nice gem...if you are in the area well worth the stop. Great staff. Nice course. Much nicer than Google pics. Abundance of wildlife.

Only public course Ada has to offer, so there’s that. Fairways are non-existent on most holes so you don’t have to stress about hitting them. Greens tend to look like Flanders Fields most of the time. Not typically busy so a good pace of play. The front desk at the pro-shop that’s not a pro-shop has been rude on a couple of occasions. One instance, we had our girls with us who wanted to ride along. Paid an extra $25 for each rider then got a lecture that we were “taking carts from others”. This was on a rainy, non-busy, Saturday. We played the whole 18 with no one showing up behind us. On an…

The price is steep for a 9 hole and comparing to other courses with more amenities. They keep the greens well kept but the fairways are spotty due to sand dirt and rocks. It's a tough course with a lot of elevation change but offers a great time to everyone. The carts are a bit annoying with the boundary system they have but to each their own. The staff is always friendly and it's a super relaxed environment with relatively fast play unless they are full... then you're waiting a lot. I'll be there this coming Saturday as it's my home course.

Have been there three times with buddies we had a group. And the guy at the counter has been rude all 3 times saying how we are gonna slow the pace and complains about the amount of carts we are using saying “see now that you are taking 2 carts there are less for other people if they wanna play” after we are paying $60 to play anyway

Lakewood is very unique. It's out in the countrya and ,has the best kept greens you will ever find, with a relaxed atmosphere. If you enjoy golf, you should experience Lakewood , there's not another course of it's kind.
