In summary

Lansdowne Resort is frequently praised for its beautiful setting, well-maintained golf course, and attentive staff, making it a popular choice for corporate events and leisure stays. Many guests appreciate the overall ambiance and service quality, particularly in dining and event settings. However, some visitors have noted that the rooms and spa facilities could benefit from updates and better maintenance, and a few have experienced inconsistent service at the front desk.

We stayed last night for my husband's work event here and we have absolutely NO complaints. This resort was so beautiful and the best part was the customer service! Literally everyone I interactes with were so pleasant and just so welcoming! I love to go place that employees actually care and like their jobs! I do want to give personal shout-out to Katty she was serving our table at the event and was incredible! She was so fun and took care of us so well, I really enjoyed meet her! Overall a great experience! Great job!

This was my second time attending a multi day work conference at Lansdowne Resort, and it further confirmed why it is such a strong venue for corporate events. Even visiting during the winter months, the experience felt intentional and well executed from start to finish. The property genuinely seems designed with conferences in mind. The layout supports productivity, with spacious ballrooms, well organized breakout rooms, and smooth transitions between sessions. Over multiple days, that efficiency matters, and everything felt structured yet comfortable. Despite the colder season, the atmosph…

It is not our first visit but I think this may be the last. My husband and I wanted a quick getaway for a few days and chose Lansdowne because our past visits here have always been nice. We booked the corner room thinking we will spoil ourselves. We were so wrong! The corner room was smack in the middle of the floor plan as we exited the elevators. Then as we stepped in, we realized that a normal room bathroom would have been bigger. the corner room's bathroom was so small when you step in to use the toilet you have to actually edge to the corner of the bathtub in order to close the door. And…

Went for the spa. Reasonable pricing and friendly staff. Spa amenities were not well maintained. Lockers and floor were dirty. Hair station was not hygienic. Shower door was rusted and fell off the hinges. Other guests were loud and obnoxious in the hot tub. No light snacks were offered. Don’t recommend this spa - spend a little more and go somewhere nicer

This was my second visit to the resort and I like it for myself for a staycation but not necessarily for a family vacation, just not enough for them to do unless they like golf or the pool (which is nice but not enough to entertain them long term). The resort is beautiful and has the most lovely spa like smell piping through the lobby. #bliss The robes and washclothes are luscious. High quality and feel great. The beds are amazing!! Next time I go I'll come for the sound bath or a spa treatment just so I get a more full experience.

We stayed overnight in the Alcove 1 bedroom suite so that we could attend Mother's Day brunch. Based on this specific visit I would say I was underwhelmed and that the room was overpriced. The room needed to renovated, redone and refurbished. It was to the point where I couldn't really tell if a certain piece of furniture was simply old or just straight up not cleaned. There were cracks and stains in the wallpaper, and stains on the furniture and couch. And the bathroom, while large, was poorly lit and not much better than what you can get at a Best Western. If that's where I wanted to stay, I…

Staff: excellent, attentive, the best part of the resort. Golf: RTJ course is challenging, but it's beautifully maintained and fun to play. Range was good too, tees aren't in the best shape. Spa: overpriced, jacuzzi is a steel box (that isn't in the best condition), evidence of mold on walls, underwhelming for the cost, unfortunately, massage was good but not really worth it. Don't like that they advertise steam room/sauna as amenity, but it's not really an amenity if you have to pay for it? Room: fine. Needs general maintenance: leaky faucet, fill valve in toilet intermittent, floor tiles…

It was an amazing experience. Our high recommend this place to anybody. That's comes to that area or wants to experience an amazing time there's Golf courses, blue pool tables. Wonderful staff and willingness of the staff to help you with anything you need. If you stay there you can user drive range for free and get rental clubs for practically nothing. There's not enough good things to say about this place.Other than I can't wait to go back and spend all day at the spa which was amazing.

The staff at Lansdowne Resort are awesomely great — every single person I encountered was genuinely kind and eager to please. Special shoutout to Morgan at the restaurant bar, who was incredibly kind and helped me quickly select the perfect bite to eat — precisely what I needed after a long day. The property itself is beautiful and inviting — a perfect escape from the daily grind of city and suburban life around the Beltway. Now, about that bed — let’s just say I was instantly transported back to summer camp in the seventies “Bedrock”, lying on a mattress that felt exactly like the one under…

I'm going to be all over the place with this review. Driving up to the resort is gorgeous and it has great curb appeal. Beautiful lobby. The hallways leading into the rooms are in very poor condition, with lots of damage on the walls and the bathrooms inside are rooms are extremely dated. Bathroom floors are distinguishing. As far as the food and amenities on the property. Extremely overpriced. We went into coton and dry, had some more food and quite a few drinks. I was expecting about a hundred dollar bar tab, not a hundred and ninety eight dollar bar tab. They have a steam shower on sight.Bu…

This is a fairly large and sprawling resort complex, I stayed here for a recent conference which was held at the property. The event challenged the facility as it seems to have gotten too big for this venue, there just isn’t enough room, but they keep having it here anyway. That’s another story I guess. This hotel has definitely grown outdated, the rooms are fairly dim and yellowish lighting is used too extensively in hallways as well. You can tell some updating has been attempted, but it hasn’t been enough to keep this place up to modern standards, especially for a resort you’d pay for with…

My stay was amazing! I had originally booked a king room but was pleasantly upgraded to a suite because I mentioned it was my wife’s (a new mom’s) birthday. I really appreciated that thoughtful gesture! My wife was so pleased and happy, even out 2month old was excited with the view, which meant the world to me. Thank you so much for making our stay special.
