want to sincerely thank this course and everyone involved for hosting the Gunny R. Lee Ermey Memorial Golf Classic on May 11th. The event was extremely well organized, the staff was outstanding, and the course itself was in fantastic condition from tee box to green. You could tell a great deal of effort and pride went into making the tournament a success, and it created an atmosphere that was both enjoyable and meaningful. How far has this club gone downhill over the past few years, particularly this year in the eyes of this longtime member? Here’s a few ways: Going to 7.5 minute tee times this year. Fivesomes. 4.5 hour or longer rounds on the weekends. The course getting overplayed and conditions suffering because of that. Less maintenance so bare spots in the fairways, greenside washouts, no sand at the bottom of a bunker, and walking bridges “fixed” just enough to cause a trip and fall lawsuit. Same guys getting the morning tee times every weekend. Too many tournaments in the good weather months. A range that…

Very nice atmosphere and the course is amazing. Very challenging.

The fairways aren’t as wide as those on other courses, but with bunkers and water hazards on every hole, this was a course I had always wanted to challenge myself on. It’s well maintained, and the food is also delicious.

Went to lunch here with a friend. Ella had a poor personality. When we asked what the "service fee" was on the check, we were told for using the computer and a tip pool. She also told us she would only get 1 cent of the tip pool so it wasn't "really" for tips. There wasn't anyone else in the place, but found it a chore to do refills. Food was ok, but go anywhere other than this place. It isn't worth it. You will quickly have buyer's remorse. No salt or pepper available? Interesting. One good thing - manager came over and asked how everything was.

As a member at Weston Hills in Florida I played this as a reciprocal. The hospitality is warm and welcoming. The greens are in excellent shape, fast and true. The pro shop and bar/restaurant area have clearly been renovated recently as they’re very nice and modern. I hope the renovations Arcis is currently undertaking at my home club turn out as well as they have done here. Unfortunately there was a storm so I could only play the front 9, but it was very enjoyable with a really fast pace of play (under 3 hours).

We recently attended a wedding at Lantana Golf Club. We overlooked the waterway with the waterfall, and the lovely rolling hills of the golf course during the ceremony. The grounds were very nice. The ceremony was followed by an indoor reception, and the appetizers and dinner were delicious. The staff were extremely attentive, regularly offering appetizers and refilling water or wine. The entire evening was lovely.

Lantana is in the midst of a transformation that will hopefully earn another star upon completion. Since becoming a member 3 years ago, it’s apparent the club has had to manage the impact of the pandemic, the ensuing staffing shortages, several climate related challenges, supply chain issues related to golf balls (!) and an ambitious remodeling that has taken much longer than anticipated. I’m grateful for the recent rain that is already having a positive impact on the course. Love the new golf shop. I love this place! Ryan always takes such good care of my family, and the other waitstaff is so sweet to us too. One of my favorite menu items is the fried green beans. They are so good! Also...I always get the turkey wrap. 😉 YUM!

Always a treat to play when I get the opportunity. Food is outstanding, and the course has a challenging yet fun layout.

My daughter got married at Lantana Golf club in February, 2021. Our experience was outstanding. Every detail of the event was handled so efficiently and our every request was carried out quickly. I can't count the number of times I was asked by a staff member if there was anything I needed. Amy and her staff are head and shoulders above the rest.
