What People Say

In summary

Texas Woman's University Golf Club receives praise for its beautiful campus, friendly staff, and comprehensive academic offerings. However, some visitors express frustration with organizational issues, particularly regarding communication with administrative offices and challenges with parking and housing availability. The overall experience varies, with positive remarks about the educational environment often contrasted by logistical concerns.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I genuinely do not recommend this school due to the lack of organization and communication between departments and students/teachers. I had three different advisors during my two year period at this school. I was advised incorrectly on what courses to take multiple times leading to a delay in my degree completion and starting my masters program. Additionally, my courses were transferred in incorrectly, so I took five extra classes. I even went to student records with my transcripts from the other schools, and they told me it was not equivalent. Now graduate sc…

Good school and great staff but why am I paying $8000/semester in tuition and having to pay an additional $200/year for parking when there is no free parking available at the dallas campus. On top of that, the cafeteria staff will not give you plastic silverware unless you buy something? The majority of the student body at that campus is 19-24 years old and are in programs that have schedules similar to full time jobs. We do not have the extra funds for things like this.

I attended their graduate program; I did my undergrad else where. I had much better experiences at other universities. I would NOT recommend attending any of the TWU campuses. As a graduate requesting assistance for access to my email, well, forget it. They have a policy about not assisting their graduates. If I had a time machine, I would choose a different university.

Victoria in the dental program is wonderful... She is kind, humble, patient, great with children, and did great work on my teeth...I highly recommend her for you dental work...I met her not too long ago and we became fast friends. Not only is she a budding dentist, but she is part of my family now. I absolutely love her. She's just a beautiful person on the inside and out..

Decent school. Current student, was able to start school earlier here. Staff is decent and most classes are easy to understand with mostly laid back professors so far.

Pretty campus, very quaint. Met my wife here, got married at the chapel and got my second degree. I would say it's a win win win!

I was told if I did a SAP appeal they would cover my financial aid for the fall semester. I've been through some tough times so school was hard for me. Well I did the appeal and got it approved and did a secure fee for my spring semester classes and come to find out they couldnt get to my appeal in time and I couldnt register for my classes. They claim my bill was high for the fall semester even though I had a higher bill before and they paid for it. I just felt like my time was wasted. I wish they would of said something before instead having me wait and I could of had a plan b. Now I have a…

You're very nice quiet clean university where installing ADA plumbing fixtures everyone is friendly and helpful it looks like a very nice university. The kids were practicing their orchestra instruments yesterday and I swore it was a radio that somebody had on loudly yet when the door was opened I saw all the kids playing and I was amazed by how talented they are sounded amazing. It's very close today center of Denton a nice small town that has access to everything imaginable stores entertainment everything close by and within minutes of each other and the food here is great.

It appears that there is a significant lack of communication in this university office and advising staff, as neither phone calls nor emails seem to be answered promptly. This poor communication is quite frustrating.

I've experienced ongoing issues with staff interactions across several departments at the school. Responses over the phone are often delayed, and when answered, the tone can come across as dismissive or unfriendly. Additionally, parking has been extremely frustrating—even with a $200 maroon parking pass, finding a spot can take an excessive amount of time, often requiring multiple trips around campus. It feels like the pass doesn’t guarantee access to adequate parking, which is very disappointing.
