In summary

The Golf Club at Frisco Lakes is highly regarded for its well-maintained course, scenic layout, and excellent amenities, including a large practice facility and a modern restaurant with diverse menu options. Visitors appreciate the friendly staff and the value offered, especially for members. However, some guests express concerns about slow pace of play and occasional service delays at the restaurant, indicating room for improvement in managing course traffic and dining efficiency.

Frisco Lakes is a 'must-play' but don't let the wide fairways fool you. If the wind is blowing, this course shows its teeth. The bunker placements are strategic and the greens have some tricky undulations. If you can handle the breeze off the lake, you'll have a blast. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a challenging but fair test of golf in North Texas.

I am so sad today. Caitlyn is leaving Frisco Lakes and she is the reason why we always enjoyed eating at the restaurant. I don’t think the management gets it. I wish the management would understand what us members really want. We want more people like Caitlyn and it seems like people like her are always leaving. I feel like Amber doesn’t know what the customer wants. We want more people like Caitlyn!

The staff , service and food here are always 10 out of 10. So many things to choose from on menu! I’m vegan but my kids enjoy it all . The view is gorgeous, great place for a family dinner or a casual night out. Let me also mention they make one of my favorite cocktails, and it’s a nice hideout to catch the game!

This is a public course with the amenities of a Private Country Club. You have a large practice facility for putting, short game, and driving range. The course layout is very scenic for it to be within the city. You get a chance to play on Lake Lewisvile. The greens and fairways were in good shape. There are 2 beverage carts, one for the front and one for the back. You will only see them once due to the layout of the course, so stock up when you see them. This was my first time playing here and I enjoyed myself. The price shocked me but it was about what I would have spent at another course. S…

Had an opportunity to stop by and visit Frisco lakes golf course and eat at its remodeled restaurant inside the Del Webb community. We live in a Del Webb community in Georgetown, TX, Sun City. So we were curious, to say the least. The restaurant was just reopened after a well worth it 9 mos renovation, modern design, large bar and light and airy interior. We only had appetizers fried pickles and calamari , both delicious. Reed, if I am not mistaken, served us as we sat at the bar. He had not been with them long, said as a kid his dad did work for Del Webb. Views of the course are amazing, an…

Very lively and modern restaurant in Frisco Lakes. Most diners probably live in the Dell Webb community. I was impressed by the look and feel, definitely not a golf club feel. It is definitely more upscale. Sandwiches, Burgers, Salads, BBQ, Tacos and Pizza. Lots to choose from with a decent wine list - surprising!! I had the had the big meatball with pasta and flavor was lacking but enjoyed. Pizza looked really solid. My guests enjoyed the fish tacos and burger. Food was average and service slow but place was very busy live. Very large, nice bar and staff very friendly.

What started off as a very nice experience at this club turned sour pretty quickly. Let me start off with the good. First off we got here and hit some range balls. It appears they have the Top Golf technology for the range, but they were not allowing that at the time. Regardless there is a lot of construction here, but the range was nice and decently priced. Our golf game came with a meal and a beer. The food was really good and the staff was nice. Really great experience here. Our tee time was at 11:38 and we got ther at 11:30 and there was already a long line which was odd. The Marshall cam…

Pretty good food but service is slow. I've been two times, about a year apart, and it was the same both times. We waited about 10 minutes to be seated, in an empty restaurant. We waited about 15 minutes for someone to come and take our drink order. We waited 5 or 10 more minutes to place our food order. One time the food took forever to come out but tasted fine, the second time everything was the same except the food came quickly. Make sure you're not in a hurry if you go

Excellent public course with a nice restaurant part of the Del Webb community in Frisco TX. As a member the pricing is amazing! Pricing includes a beer and an entree (depending on times) if you are a member with a cart. Probably one of the best values around north Dallas as the course is in very good condition. Worth a visit and great prices for membership that is only $99 per month. Range balls included as a member and additional discounts available.

My family really enjoys coming here! My oldest son plays the course, frequently visits the range and takes lessons each week. Beau is a wonderful instructor and everyone at the clubhouse is welcoming. Plus the restaurant and bar drinks are a great choice too. Thank you!

If you’re going to be greedy and try to squeeze every dime out of your customers and schedule tee times every 8 minutes, at least pay a marshal to enforce pace of play. Every single hole we had to wait on the tee box between 7-10 minutes to tee off because there was a group on the green, a group in the fairway and a group waiting to tee off as we pulled up to each hole. You put a sign on the carts that say “we value your time”. That’s blatantly false. You value getting done you can. The sign also said to communicate to the clubhouse via the TagMarshal unit. We did 3 times and didn’t see a sin…

Food is good, staff is nice, course is usually in good shape but the last time I played (10/4/25) it was a nearly six hour round on a Saturday afternoon. Today (10/10/25), I had a 5:06pm tee time and we only got through three holes in an hour. When we got to the fourth hole there was one group on the fairway and three more waiting to tee off. At this point, I gave up. The pro shop was sympathetic but only offered the explanation that since the weather has turned nice, they're just busier. No kidding. Tee times 8 minutes apart is another problem. I did get a raincheck, but jeez, I'm not looking…
