Our Favorite Ladies' Day Out @ The Trails of Frisco 🏌️‍♀️💖 "The Trails of Frisco has officially become our go-to spot! What we love most about this course is the perfect balance—it’s neither too easy nor too intimidating. The layout is incredibly engaging, offering just enough challenge with its scenic wetlands and strategic bunkers to keep the game exciting without being overwhelming. Beyond the playability, the course is absolutely stunning. The rustic wooden bridges and natural creeks provide the perfect backdrop for our group photos! Post-round, there’s nothing better than heading to the c…

The Trails of Frisco has officially become my favorite place to lose golf balls. This course on any given day will make you rethink your game. I’m always up for a challenge and the trails delivers every time. Solid prices on weekdays. Always in great condition and a friendly staff. Driving range could use some work, as I am not a fan of the turf mats with a slab of concrete underneath. Overall, I think the trails is a hidden gem. Every round leaves me questioning my swing, my club selection, and most of the time my sanity—but somehow I can’t wait to come back.

5/2/26-Paid $114.00 For a round of golf today at Trails Frisco (Green fees plus small range balls). Haven’t played here in probably five or six years, I think I’ve played cow pastures that were in better condition than this course. Management should be embarrassed of charging $100+ for this course in this horrible condition. This is no better than a $50 course, at best. In fact, I can’t think of a single good aspect of this once nice course - Guess I should have known that there were reasons for tee times being available on a beautiful Saturday.

Don’t believe all the bad reviews you see online for this course. The fairways, tee boxes and greens were all in decent shape. The greens were in good shape and fairly fast had breaks that were hard to read for me. But that’s just operator error. They have a nice putting green. That’s very similar to the actual greens. They actually have a chipping space as well. Sorry, no photo. I did pay about $60 online on GolfNow. But it seems like that’s kind of going rate in this area of the country. I played this course a year ago and was equally satisfied. I’ll definitely be back. Some challenging…

March 2025; 1st time to play the course. Senior, played blue tees (6320, 70.7, 124) Highlights: Clubhouse, impressive layout & greens (despite some poa anna ). Shot makers course; driving in the fairway is a must to score. Water on a # of holes. Greens are large, they hold, can spin the ball. Tee boxes & fairways have potential but need more water. Fairways were hard & rolled out. Practice area is large ( mats only ) Practice putting area is excellent People were very nice & welcoming Lots of maintenance work to be done ( brush pickup, etc ) that will make the course shine Solid value at senio…

The good the bad and the ugly. The good: We reserved a tee time for Friday, thinking we made it for Sunday so when we showed up, they fit us in. We had a group of 4 but one of us wasn’t actually playing so they only charged us for 3 people which was nice. I started to wonder after hole 3 if that was our “discount”, however it still cost us $275 for 3 people to play on this janky course. The bad: The person that checked us in was dipping and spitting in his cup… 🫣 I’m not a golfer but I know how a golf course should look and play and this isn’t it. Nothing about these grounds were smooth. Li…

Good, challenging track. Greens were in decent shape. Fairways had some issues. Bunkers were a mess, un-raked with tire tracks. A foursome in front of our group was a five-some to begin the back 9. For $90, I would recommend a different golf course in the area.

I am concerned about the experience my friend and her family had at The Trails of Frisco Golf Club on December 16, 2026, around 5:50 pm. While returning golf carts, a staff member yelled at them, verbally insulted a family member, and made physical contact. My friend’s children are professional athletes, and it was shocking to see a family treated this way. This raises serious concerns about staff training and professionalism, and whether the club prioritizes a safe and respectful environment for families. I hope management addresses this incident and takes steps to ensure that all guests an…

Golfed here at the beginning of April. This course has a great layout and conditions were very good. Greens rolled true with good speed. It was great to see all the kids in the practice area working on their game. Price was on point. Would definitely come back next time I’m in the area.

I have to say, I am really impressed with how much better this course looks than it did two years ago. The management here is clearly trying to keep in it best possible shape. It cannot say this course was perfect by any means, but it is a fantastic course for it being public and the price you pay for it. Other course want to charge $20 more for a tee time for less quality of a course. I and hoping they can continue the turned of keeping this course in good condition and maybe fix the tee boxes a bit. I would recommend this course to anybody!

As of early Sep 2023, the course is in very rough shape. Hole 14 just had exposed drainage pipes in it. Multiple holes seemed to have leaking sprinklers. Numerous barren dirt fields in the middle of fairways. A simple hard seltzer is $9. Insane pricing. At $90 for greens fees I expect better overall.

I recently played a round at Trails of Frisco Golf Club, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The course is beautifully maintained, with lush fairways, smooth greens, and a layout that offers both challenge and variety. Every hole has its own character, and the scenic views throughout make it a pleasure to play. The staff is friendly, professional, and welcoming. From the moment I checked in, I felt taken care of. The pace of play was just right—fast enough to keep things moving, but never rushed. The course offers a nice mix of holes for all skill levels, so whether you…
