In summary

Larters at St. Andrews Golf Club is praised for its beautiful setting along the Red River, delicious food, and accommodating staff, making it a popular choice for dining and events. Visitors appreciate the generous portions and diverse menu options. However, some guests have experienced inconsistent service and long wait times for food, which can detract from the overall dining experience.

It was not busy , yet it took 40 mins to get our food. The server truly seemed like we were bothering her. A couple came in after us and got there food before us. We have to call them over to ask ..after 30 mins. You then can tell they rushed it and food was not cooked well. I had such hopes as I have heard good things. This doesn't mean its a horrible restaurant, just dropped the ball. This being said its an absolute beautiful area. Beautiful building too

Went for lunch on a Saturday. Took us almost two hours total from walking into the restaurant to eating and leaving. Food was extremely slow, service was very slow given the amount of customers, didn’t not even provide drink menu until asked, but food was really good with good portion size (hence the 3 stars). Highly advice to not go when you’re already hungry. We want to be hopeful that they were possibly short handed in the kitchen maybe? We will definitely try again since the food is good, and will bring a snack along so I don’t get too hangry.

Good food. The service very hit or miss. I went for supper, great service and food. Went for Sunday brunch, the waitress forgot about our order. It was 45 min , then the food was put together fast last minute.

Very nice atmosphere. Friendly, helpful staff. Generous portions. Lemon chicken was good, but I kept finding seeds.

Went for breakfast today 17 Sept. No greeting or smiles from server. Coffee in hot flask warm and tasteless. Eggs, hashbrowns and ham all Luke warm and tasteless.Never saw the server until I had to find her to pay. Why can I always get a good hot breakfast at The Salisbury House , but not at Larters. Try and do better with the coffee to start with

The waitresses in restaurant appear to be in wrong line of work. That had absolutely no interest in their customers in restaurant. Dreadful.
