Lionhead Golf and Country Club

Lionhead Golf and Country Club is one of the best golf experiences in the GTA! The course is always in great condition, beautifully maintained, and offers a perfect mix of challenge and enjoyment for all levels. The staff is professional, friendly, and make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The facilities are top-notch — from the driving range to the clubhouse and restaurant. I’ve played here multiple times, and it’s always an amazing experience. Highly recommend for both individual rounds and group golf events!

Played the Legend course couple weeks ago. Course in great shape. Greens roll very true. Fairways well maintained. Traps also in good shape. Tee boxes soft and flat. For the price disappointed at bag drop off no to take our bags. Maybe only done for tournaments. Having to walk up to the practice range. Food was okay. Drinks expensive to be expected. Golf carts are awesome other than the GPS not very helpful. May return.

We had our wedding at the Lionhead over the summer and what an amazing experience ! From first contact with Kelly and then handed over to Sue I was blown away. We planned the wedding from BC and it was so easy thanks to Sue and the team, communication was always present and every detail and request was handled with extreme importance. Love the course, well maintained great to play when its dry. staff is always good to me. However.. always a 5 hour+ round. Have to figure that out and it would be one of my favorite courses.

Beautiful course! However, no signage to direct clients to the lower level where the pro shop is located. Check in was very slow, carts are dated (no satellite or ball and club head wash). Considering the price I expected more, like complimentary tees with logos at the least. Played Legends and the fairway bunkers and hazards, the sloping tight and fast greens, and distance is very challenging for a high handicapper or beginner. Off the bucket list!

We had a very bad experience at our Son's wedding Sue was very Rude In the begening of meeting she started complaining about the caterors we arranged and continued talking in a very angry tone for two minutes. Then she refused to give the bridle suite to us although we booked the bigger hall before the other party who booked the smaller room i know this becuse when we booked both were available at that time. she did not agreed even for the sharing of the bridle suite with the other group and asked us to use the public bathrooms for the bride to change. it was unbelievanb;le how she treated us!

We played the Legends Course at Lionhead Golf Club with our foursome and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The course was in immaculate condition—both the greens and fairways were beautifully maintained and offered just the right level of challenge to keep things engaging. I’ve always appreciated the quality of the course and facilities at Lionhead, but I was really disappointed with the customer service during my recent visit. I reached out to management afterward to share my experience, but never received a response. It’s disappointing when a club of this caliber doesn’t follow up with guests who take the time to provide feedback. I truly hope they address this moving forward, as it reflects poorly on an otherwise great venue.

We had golf lessons from Marcus. He was really good. There was 10 people in our group and he did an amazing job. He went through the golf basics and ended with fun games which helped us to learn putting as well. Time went so fast!! We didn't even feel like it was two ho urs. It was really good and highly recommended for someone who loves to learn Golfing.
