The golf course is permanently closed and has been turned into a beautiful nature preserve. Walking/hiking paths have been created and are very clearly marked. Be prepared for lots of hills. The restaurant building is still there, and the organization running the preserve is still deciding now to move forward. The restaurant is not currently operating.

Wonderful views of the bay, excellent wait staff and refreshing food. If you are looking for a more upscale dining experience Little Traverse Bay is worth checking out.

Great golf course, unbeatable views, super staff, food and drinks! The patio after a round of golf is perfect.

When I worked at this course, I fell in love with the entirety of it. I worked many aspects of the course, serving, bar-tending, tent functions, hostessing and even grounds crew with some helping on the pro-shop side as well. It is beautiful and well kept. The course at 5 am, is so peaceful and a rare experience seeing the sunrise. It's spread out nicely and has the greenest of grass I have ever seen. I love the level changes and that may be the most difficult aspect of this course. The course does favor right handed golfers as most of the out of bounds areas are to the left, leaving room if…

I hate to put in a good review as it may increase the traffic there but the golf course was a fun mountain course, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We were told the course was in front of you and that is exactly what it was. It was a sheer delight. When I am back in the area I will play Little Traverse Bay again, I was also told by the person who recommended the course that there restaurant is exceptional as well even though we did not have the opportunity to try it.

My husband and I recently had our wedding here and it was the most beautiful day. Emily was a doll helping us set up the venue to make sure our day was perfect. We had a relatively small wedding so the area is ideal. The view is to die for and the little spots that you can travel to with the golf cart are excellent for photos. We are so so happy with how everything turned out. It couldn't have been more perfect.

Price to quality lost with new chef. This is the prettiest place to see the bay while you eat. The service was great and the new dining room manager extremely nice. In years past this has ben a fair priced no frills restaurant. Now a new chef has raised the prices and lowered the quality. They are unable to cook meats to the right temp. Some salads were amazing and others pathetic. But still in an uninspiring room, it;s a golf course and the dining room looks like it. For the new prices and inconsistent food you have to go just for the view with little expectations on quality, very sad to writ…

Great Golf Course. VERY Challenging and equally lovely. Good staff. Fine restaurant. With the golf and restaurant are a tad pricey but worth it. We visit every year at least once. Little Traverse is one reason we make the trip Up North.

This restaurant has a great view and is CAPABLE of providing a wonderful meal, superb food and pleasant service. There isn't a festive atmosphere and all facets of the dining experience are inconsistent which is the greatest sin in a service business. We have had great service and returned to find servers with attitudes who were clearly unhappy to be working and were extremely inattentive. The hostess is friendly, but hidden behind a wall when you enter. She is all smiles but can be caught snacking behind the wall. We have had dinners cooked to order and on other occasions had to return them t…

The golf course displays beautiful views of little traverse bay, but the course is another story. The greens are slow, pace of play does not seem to concern the rangers as the golf course was 1 hour behind. For a premium price this golf course is not worth the expense. Golfers should look elsewhere as northern Michigan has some of the best golf around at treetops and the boyne collection.

Great course - fantastic shape & awesome views...especially for a flatlander like myself. Substantial elevation changes on a number of holes will leave you thinking hard about club selection.
