In summary

Llyndinshire Golf & Country Club is appreciated for its friendly staff and some creatively designed holes, offering a picturesque setting for golfers. However, visitors have noted several issues, including inconsistent greens, drainage problems, and a lack of modern amenities, which some feel do not justify the cost. Additionally, the course can be challenging in the fall due to leaves and in the summer due to insects, impacting the overall playing experience.

I'd been here a few times, all walking. It costs about $50 each time, and the greens were predictably slow. Not great, but most of the time it was open enough that you wouldn't have to wait. Recently I went as a two-some, and while the course was in fine condition (for October), there were so many leaves littered everywhere. We ended up losing balls in the fairway and light rough just off the fairway. I understand that's Fall golf, but there looked to be no effort at all in cleaning them up...They were everywhere, greens, fairway, didn't matter. For 2 people with a cart + a set of old rental…

Plenty of parking in the paved parking lot. Long winding paved entrance so take it slow. Carts can be in the way. The course was very wet today. Granted it has been raining in London for theast few days but it seems like there is a bit of a drainage issue at some places on the course. The tee blocks were very muddy on a number of holes and made it hard/uncomfortable to find a good spot to hit from. We went off the back 9 to start as the employees told us but coming around to hole 1 we found a foursome that was not in front of us. Had to explain what was happening to them and that they neede…

Beautiful golf course! Almost narrow fairways + long par 3, many challenges but good conditions; Friendly staffs . We love this course so much

8 of us golfed, and the course was in great shape with the greens being exceptional! The food and beverage delivery on course was excellent, and allowed us to keep our game moving. Great staff, and to top it off, we had great weather too!!

I have been there several times with the same group, the service staff are very friendly and made the experience great. I need to say for the price point the tee boxes are horrible. Dry, patchy or over grown. Also simple accommodations like ice or drink ingredients are extremely lacking, even on the hottest day this summer with no explanation or reason. Again, the staff are wonderful but the management provided no explanation creating awkward interactions on the turn in the club house. For the cost, customers will expect more.

Had a wonderful day playing here. I haven't broke 100 yet, but this course could possibly be the one. I will be back. Beginner friendly with friendly staff.

KIDS NOT ALLOWED. Have consistently golfed this course 4-6x per year for the past few years and always enjoyed myself, despite many locals not liking it. Last week I took my 5 year old to play nine holes putting around and riding in the cart. The woman in the pro shop was very friendly chatting with my son and had us all checked in, let me know the course was empty so it was the perfect day to take him out - no tee time for 30min before or after. I was about to tap my card when another lady rushed over to inform me they do not let children on the course. I asked why, said we had already checke…

Unfortunately the condition of the course was way out of line with the amount charged for the course. Most tee boxes where muddy and bare, most where also tilted. Fairways where fair but there where a lot of questionable areas ( little to no grass , lots of muddy areas ) I don’t mind tough greens but the consistency wasn’t indicative of a $ 75 round of golf, not to mention the unfortunate placement of a number of pins, on top of crowns, in the side of undulations. Compared to other courses in the city, Lyndenshire just dosent measure up.

The course looks very nice from road but we were all disappointed. The main problem was the greens... the back nine greens were very slow, weirdly slow whereas the front nine greens in general where normal speed compared to other courses. So very inconsistent greens.. I even felt that some tee boxes weren't flat.... It feels to me like the course is not drained properly as there is wet areas then dry areas which may explain the inconsistent greens etc . If this is the problem definitely not an easy fix. Also , no rakes on some holes and no signs at each hole showing hole distance and layout of…

Average course, club house older, carts of poor quality, greens fairly good. If you want to walk and are ok with low/medium level of difficulty this course is good…my suggestion is spend the extra 20$ and go to a better course with more modern amenities

Great golfing experience! The course is well-maintained, with some truly exceptional holes that will put your skills to the test. Conveniently located. My only drawbacks are the price point with a power cart and the intense bug situation during peak summer months - don't forget your insect repellent, or you might find yourself cutting your round short! Overall, a solid choice for golf enthusiasts.

Course needs a lot of work, fairways are like the rough at other courses for the same green fees, mud in the middle of the fairways on some holes, greens very inconsistent and extremely slow. It was a lot nicer the past few years, but this year not so great. Staff is friendly so that is great, but playing conditions were fairly poor unfortunately.
