In summary

Lombard Glen Golf & Country Club receives mixed reviews, with some visitors appreciating the course's unique layout and well-maintained greens. However, many express concerns about the high pricing relative to the course's condition, citing issues with dry and hard fairways, uneven tee boxes, and inconsistent customer service. While the food and some staff interactions are praised, others find the overall experience lacking in value for the cost.

This is the course I grew up on so it's nostalgic for me. With that said, it's too expensive for what you get. I played 9 holes here with no cart, no alcohol, and it was $40 after tax. The tee boxes aren't great and there are a lot of weeds. The greens and fairways make up for it. The holes are fun and present unique challenges. For what you get, it should be $10 cheaper. Still had lots of fun playing though.

Played here last week. Prices are way too high for the quality of the course. Pretty bad when the rough is better than the fairways. Has potential but not worth the prices they charge

I have played Lombard Glen seven times this season as I play the region in order to find a home course. This last visit was particularly disappointing. As I was paying for my round, I informed the Pro that the course was not displaying correctly on the Golf Canada app. He did not seem to care and joked that the course might not have paid their Golf Canada membership??? Then told me that you don’t need an app.?..and then explained that he was very good at judging distance. Over my shoulder a gentleman who had just finished his round reported that he had left a 7 iron on the course. The Pro aske…

Course is in decent shape given the dry summer. Contrary to other reviews, proshop staff were quite friendly and willing to chat about the course. USE THE BAG DROP - I've never seen this before and I'm unaware of any other golf course in the capital area where the parking lot is completely fenced in and if you're looking to rent a power cart and you park in the farther corners of the parking lot, you'll be carrying your gear quite a distance. Also, despite the morning being their seniors league and the parking lot still relatively full at 3:10pm - it isn't September yet - there was no bar or…

I paid $61 to play 9 holes with a cart and I’ve played at way nicer courses for less. The price should reflect the course. The fairways were rock hard and the tee boxes were challenging to even stick a tee in the ground. The sand was full of rocks and clumps, impossible to play out of. Another thing is they advertise an under 18 discount but the lady at the front desk wouldn’t give it to me. She also wasent very friendly. I wouldn’t recommend playing here for the price if you know anything about golf.

Would not recommend to anyone at the price they are charging for 18 with a cart. $80 for 18 with a cart for this golf course is ridiculous. Your rates should reflect the condition of the course. Tee boxes were dry, half bare, and uneven. Trying to get a tee into the ground was quite the process on most tee boxes. The fairways were also dry and hard. I understand the summer has been dry and the land doesn’t have a lot of natural topsoil, but you cannot be charging the price you are for what you are offering. The only decent part of the golf course was the greens. They were the only green part o…

Paul has given us a tough time every time we’ve been. Course is nice but relatively expensive for what it is. Golfers behind us were some senior smithsfalls locals and were yelling at us for the majority of our round. We’re telling us to hurry up but then proceeded to put 4 balls in the water.

Incredibly slow pace of play, especially on Mondays, other golfers and staff are rude and snippy for no reason, greens are not well maintained, fairways and teeboxes are dry and hard, overall not worth $40 for 9 holes. Should be more like $25 for what you get

Not bad, greens were good, I mean, I played in April, just happy to play golf.

Average course and needs work. It was kind of weird because it's almost like playing 2 different courses. All the holes on one side of the trail are well maintained for the most part. The holes on the other side of the trail close to the clubhouse are not good at all. All greens were in good shape. Fairways need a lot of work. They are very patchy and blend in with the rough. Most are like hard mud with some grass. Tee boxes also in rough shape. This course has potential but needs some TLC. The layout is okay with par 3's back to back on both 9's. Not sure I'd recommend and would only go back…

Staff at the pro shop was rude and unwelcoming. Drove around policing the course and was a real killjoy. Locals/members acting like they own the course and rushing those ahead of them. Had someone Drive a ball onto the green while we were still putting. Not worth the $70 if you're an amateur/trying to have a fun day or pleasant experience.

Played this course 5 times now and heres my thoughts. For the primetime price its definitely not worth it. The course definitely has some nice holes but overall its a mediocre course. Definitely not worth paying 70 bucks each. For twilight pricing its worth it. The staff in the pro shop have always been rude or un welcoming everytime ive gone.
