In summary

Mammoth Dunes at Sand Valley is highly praised for its stunning beauty, excellent course conditions, and welcoming atmosphere, making it a top golfing destination. The course layout is noted for being both challenging and accessible, with wide fairways and large greens that cater to various skill levels. While the overall experience is exceptional, some golfers find the putting surfaces more difficult than expected due to their speed and size.

Mammoth Dunes at Sand Valley is easily one of the most beautiful and most fun places to golf in the Midwest, perhaps the country. The incredible facilities and friendly professional staff make it a 5-star experience on their own. The course is extremely friendly with plenty of challenges along the way, making it perfect for all skill levels. Excellent breakfast sandwiches, too. Highly recommend you add this one to your list.

Mammoth is a fantastic course and provides a superior golf experience. The fairways and greens are fast and firm. The ball rolls forever. The slope, aka the “bogey rating” is relatively low - deceptively low - probably because the fairways are super wide, greens are huge, and the length is manageable. But I found the putting to be extremely difficult because I’m used to smaller, slower parkland bent grass greens. Sadly, I three putted more than 5 times - way more than usual. The hospitality is top level and the food items at the halfway house are $1.

By far, the best golf experience I've had to date. Struggle with first tee nerves? No worries. Number 1 is the perfect remedy. Want your ball to spin on approach shots, but roll out on putts? These are the greens for you. The course is quite demanding, but it is the absolute best to start your Sand Valley trip

Truly Amazing experience! The course was beautiful! I walked with my 16 yr old son yesterday while he played with three lovely people we just met. Everyone who worked there was extremely and authentically friendly, kind and helpful. My son is a great golfer and he played 18 on Mammoth Dunes. He really loved it too.
