What People Say

In summary

Midland Country Club is praised for its well-maintained 9-hole course, offering a mix of challenging and easier holes that cater to both beginners and more experienced players. The course is noted for its affordability, scenic setting, and the quality of its on-site restaurant, Table on the Green. While many appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, some visitors have reported negative interactions with certain staff members, which detracted from their experience.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ As someone who’s definitely a beginner golfer or a pro cart operator for her husband, I absolutely love Midland Country Club! It’s a 9-hole course that isn’t too tough, but still gives you just enough challenge to make it fun—perfect for beginners or casual players. The scenery is beautiful and the course is really well-maintained, which made the whole experience even better. And the restaurant on site, Table on the Green, is so, so good! Whether you’re finishing up a round or just coming by for a great meal, it’s definitely worth a visit.

If you don’t want to break the bank (29$ Nine Holes) and play a FUN course and have a great time in Pinehurst, go to Midland and Knollwood. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

New Review from February 6, 2023: We have made this our first stop when we arrive in Pinehurst. It's a perfect 9 hole warm up at a reasonable price. I was very impressed with the course conditions for early February. The tee boxes are sprayed green, trimmed and clean. The fairways are dormant Bermuda grass but clean, firm and very playable. The bunkers were all neatly raked, and the greens rolled faster than I remember from the past. Being bent grass they were smooth. Don't hesitate to play this enjoyable course. Six sets of tees enable you to find your distance and it's easy to walk if you…

Very nice staff. Table on the Green excellent staff. Tom and Dakota are very sincere and took care of me as a patron. Great food and great service.

This course has an interesting layout. The 9 holes all have a different look and will challenge your club selection. The greens are small and not too undulating but the edges are all sand so being just off the green can present a dilemma. 6 sets of tees makes everyone feel welcome. Easy to walk but carts are available.

Great 9 hole course, come here often. 5 dollars to walk if youth, 22 for cart.

Called for a tee time, and the lady who picked the phone up was very nice and set us up for a time. When arriving to the pro shop to check in, I knew what all the bad reviews were about. The guy in the pro shop gave a nasty look at me and was extremely short, and rude. This guy needs to find himself something to make him happy because he sure is an absolutely miserable person. Course was subpar and very generic.

It is quiet, clean, the food both American and Thai Menues are all 5 plus. The dessert menu is off the charts! When was the last time you had bread pudding? Everyone wears masks and it is my restaurant of choice always and especially now!

As many other people have stated, the staff is very rude. Its a shame because the course is a really good 9 hole track but given the disrespectful staff, we'll stay clear of it in the future. Go play the Cradle at the Pinehurst Club if you're looking for a 9 hole course to play!

great place to walk 9. not sure about the comments on rude staff...have met them all and they treat you with the same respect you treat them. play here regularly and the staff is always helpful....remember you are paying about a 3rd of what you would pay anywhere else and most of thos courses won't let you walk nine holes.

Good little course. I call the workin’ man’s course. This place won’t break the bank. Easy walking, greens are in good shape for early spring.
