In summary

Mill River Golf Course is frequently praised for its excellent course condition, beautiful scenery, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for golfers visiting PEI. The layout offers a good mix of challenging and playable holes, and the overall experience is often highlighted as enjoyable. However, some visitors have noted issues such as slow pace of play, limited snack options on the course, and occasional dissatisfaction with pricing and amenities, which may affect the overall value for some guests.

Thoroughly enjoyed this course! The staff were helpful and friendly before we teed off as were the on course team! The course it self was in great shape, presented a number of interesting holes that kept you thinking and was still playable. Hopefully I'll be back to PEI in the future and get another chance to play it.

Course was in excellent shape. Some tee boxes had the grass a bit too long and damaged but still playable. Greens were perfect. Beautiful scenery. Staff is super friendly. Food cart on the course did not have many options for snacks aside from sandwiches and chips (no peanuts or chocolate bars), but prices were reasonable. Mid-course hut for food/drinks/bathroom was not opened. Fortunately there are bathrooms elsewhere on the course.

Amazing course and in particularly good condition given the recent heat! Definitely one the top courses. Mckenzie in the Pro Shop was great, as was Jocelyn on the cart and Shae in the Hunter house was amazing! Hope to be back before the year is done.

Made me pay even though I already pre paid for the round. Course is well kept but it's kind of out of the way and quite bland. Members are kind of rude and just jump in between at hole 10 creating a ton of slow play. Wouldn't come back. Glasgow Hills or crowsbush was much better for the price

Was really looking forward to playing this course, however, even as a resort guest, there was no discount for Golf. Paid for a cart, It was dirty, there was no GPS. There was no pin placement information, there was no map of the course, which is odd since there’s a lot of visitors that come here. The pace of play was slow, but the sand was nice, and the staff were friendly. But personally, I did not feel that it was worth the 310 dollars It cost for the pair of us. There are much much nicer and more reasonable courses around.

Beautiful summer day, however the round was ruined early, between the 2nd hole and the 5th hole, the marshal came 4 times for our group to speed up play and eventually came to separate us from the other lovely couple. Completely ruined the $278 round of fun play. After voicing our disappointment, the director simply said "Have a nice golf season" Basically give me your money, and go back where you came from. 👎

A for sure to play in PEI. While it is a lengthy drive from the north shore area, the drive is worth it. Challenge yourself with one of the tee blocks. The course was in excellent condition for early spring. All personnel we encountered where helpful and pleasant. This course should be on everyone's golf trip.
