In summary

Minnesota National Golf Course is highly praised for its well-maintained, picturesque course and challenging layout, which appeals to golfers of all skill levels. The staff is frequently commended for their friendliness and professionalism, particularly in handling weddings and events, with Angie receiving specific accolades for her exceptional service. While most reviews are overwhelmingly positive, one noted a disappointing experience with the course condition and another mentioned issues with food quality, though these seem to be isolated incidents.

We had our wedding at Minnesota National Golf Course on November 1st, and it was absolutely perfect! Our ceremony was held in the barn, and it was beautiful — The reception was in the clubhouse, which looked stunning and classy with the fireplace going and all the tables set up perfectly. The golf course was still gorgeous with some fall leaves, making for amazing photos. Angie was amazing and so helpful, and the rest of the bar and event staff were so fun, friendly, and professional. The food was incredible, and the whole atmosphere felt cozy and classy! We also rented the cabins for the we…

We had our September wedding at Minnesota National Golf Club & Resort and it was amazing. Angie did such a wonderful job. She executed everything beautifully. She was beyond kind and a pleasure to work with. We are so happy we had our special day at Minnesota National. The appetizers and dinner were delicious. We really felt the people working at Minnesota National took great care of our guests. I would highly recommend this venue (no matter how big or small) to future couples who are looking to get married. You will be cared for here! We also had Minnesota National cater our welcome party din…

What a fantastic course, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. 100% worth the drive to get here. I can’t wait to come out here again. Best in the state hands down.

I'll start by saying I've known about this course my whole life and set my expectations, but my mind was blown when I played less than $50 to play, peak of season. My expectations were totally met here, from top of the line GPS carts, beautiful practice facility, and large, updated clubhouse. The course was in very good shape, white bunkers well maintained, and greens played very well. Thay have a short executive 9 that plays inside of the championship course. The championship course has a very open, resort course feel, but with woods and marsh everywhere and a few difficult carrie's from the b…

I’ve know about Minnesota National Golf Course for a long time but never pulled the trigger to get up there and try it out. I joined the PCC this past spring and decided I had no reason not too any longer and I couldn’t have been happier about doing so. This quickly became one of my favorite courses. The staff is friendly, accommodating, and very helpful. The course is immaculate. The tee boxes are perfectly flat and well maintained, fairways are lush, rough is thick but fair, and the greens roll like perfection. I made the trip four more times after my initial trip up there, more than any…

Beautiful course with a challenging Joel Goldstrand track and picturesque setting. Manicured very well. It’s as good as it gets for a northern course that ensures tough winters. The tee boxes were nicely level with short healthy grass. The fairways are like a tight weave carpet. Very nice. The greens are exceptional. They were fast and true without being impossible. They held a quality shot like they should. The ball rolls true without being thrown off by inconsistencies. The carts are electric with touch screen gps maps that have all the info you need. Also abnormally bolstered and cushioned…

Totally different review here, but… weddings at MNGC are so fun! I am an event planner and I had the honor of working with Reid and his staff for a wedding last summer. Everything was amazing! The staff is so accommodating with client requests, rental deliveries and last minute needs, and they’re professional and fun to work with! Photos by Erin Rae Photography

This was an excellent track and an overall great experience. The course is plenty challenging and the 9 hole is really fun. The service in the restaurant/lounge was very good. The food was good as well. Oh and quite affordable!

Course is in excellent shape. Challenging with quick greens. Had lunch in the clubhouse twice, and both times, food was solid. I had the club sandwich and the chicken sandwich.

Played 9/21/2024. I have been playing here for the last 14 years. Worst shape I have seen. Almost every white tee box was unusable, and greens were severely damaged. Not worth $127.

Very quiet and beautiful campground. Definitely will stay there again. I do not golf but the course looked immaculate.

What a great course. Some of the best greens I have played in Minnesota and a very challenging layout. You will need every club in your bag to score well. Lots of different tee boxes allows for golfers of all ages to enjoy.
