Sugarbrooke Golf Course at Sugar Lake Lodge

We had a tee time for two that was scheduled in the later morning. We were able to start our round on time but the pace of play slowed as the morning waned on the front 9. Several groups of other players had a started a scramble tournament on the back 9 and then interspersed themselves with others on the front 9. The polite way to describe it would be that the course was extremely popular and the club house staff was embracing the popularity. Great course. Excellent condition. Nice carts.

We went to Sugar Brooke to use the driving range. Very nice range and all of the Pro Shop staff were awesome. They gave us more range balls than we paid for and were given a ride to the range that is quite far from the Pro Sop. We were treated royally.

Highly recommend this golf course. It was beautiful and well maintained. Staff were nice and accommodating. My only complaint is they charged us $35 per six pack of 12 oz Michelob Golden light to bring out onto the course.

I look forward to golfing Sugarbrooke every year when staying at Sugar Lake Lodge. The course suits a range of skill levels with much of the front 9 being open and forgiving and the back 9 tighter and more challenging. Course conditions were excellent and prices were reasonable.

Fairways are rough, greens are well kept, doesn't seem like that have a beverage/ snack cart driving around. And the bar at the clubhouse doesn't have cans to buy to drink or on the course. But maybe i was just supposed to bring my own?

When we first drove up the course looked absolutely stunning and I was personally pretty excited to play it, but the problem came with the pro shop employees. One of the employees who’s name is Doug came out and called my father a lier saying how my bother isn’t under 16 even tho he is 15 years of age. I am 17 and do not meet the junior rate requirement which isn’t a big deal but an employee should never call a costumer a lier. Always a good time and well kept course with challenges for all golfers of any skill

Was in great condition. Greens don't hold and tricky. Was a great challenge and will come again. Only negative is no directional signs for where the next hole is if new to the course

The course looked great but when we got there, the people were very rude, they didn’t believe anything we said about our juniors and they said we were lying. One of the worst experiences from the staff on a golf course
