Moonlake Golf & Country Club

Great course, greens were fantastic, really enjoyed the golf aspect. The pace of play was incredibly slow. Could really use a marshall to speed up the groups of 4 that were ripping 4 balls each off the tee box with no regard for others. Backed up at one point 4 groups deep. Again, loved the course, but 5hrs to get 14 holes in begs for improvement

***Update*** Today Moon Lake management got back to me via email, and kindly addressed the charges. It’s nice that I can get back a round for the buddy that missed his tee time. I sincerely appreciate this, and understand the cost to the club for lost revenue. At the same time, I am no longer going to take a chance and be the person putting his credit card on file to secure the foursomes. If I’m going to be charged because someone can’t make it (and twice this year it was a last minute illness where the person had the flu and missed work that week as well) - sometimes you just don’t know until…

We enjoyed a lovely dinner at this terrific restaurant. My sister & hubby have been members for years & frequently dine here. It's very clear why. Comfortable seating, friendly, efficient & knowledgeable service & of course delicious food with ample servings. Orders: Cajun Quesadilla, Thai Noodle Salad, Crispy Chicken Burger, Chicken Tenders all with Sweet Potato Fries. A couple Pints of GW16 & a Caesar for drinks. There were approximately 140 golfers on site for a tourney & this in no way interfered with service. Very impressive. We shall return should the opportunity present itself.

My favourite golf course in Saskatoon. Great views on a scenic course with 27 holes. Fantastic staff always are wonderful and a pleasure to deal with. If you want to play a great course, hit up Moon Lake!

My now husband and I recently got married at Moon Lake and it was an absolute dream come true! The staff went above and beyond to ensure our day ran smoothly. Communication with Leanne during wedding planning was always consistent, organized, and helpful. Not only did my husband and myself have our perfect wedding but our family and friends raved about the friendly staff, delicious food and beautiful venue. We definitely recommend Moon Lake to any couple looking for a stunning wedding venue!

Although this is a beautiful course, they book the tee times too close and don’t manage pace of play. It can take up to 6 hours to do 18-holes, which is just crazy. 4 groups backed up waiting to tee off on the back 9? Didn’t see a single marshal the entire day.

We did highland and heather today, both courses were in great shape…. It’s a lovely course…… however I do have a complaint. I have never been to a course where someone who has a physical handicap needs a note from a dr to get a handicap flag. I find this rather discriminatory towards people who like to golf but have mobility issues….shabby. Also so many fairways cart path only, again kind of discriminatory against people with mobility issues. Really disappointed with this policy, won’t be back again

I'll admit the course was visually nicer than I expected. The price and service when we got there were awful. I've never in my life golfed at a course that still charges you full price of a foursome when one player can't make it. This also seems to be a trend on trip advisor with other people experiencing the same thing. Will not be returning to this course.

Pace of play is flat out intolerable. No marshals on the course on a Saturday afternoon, tee boxes backed up with 10+ people waiting. Over three hours for 9 holes. The course is reasonably well kept, but you have to book off your whole weekend to get a full round in here

Very nice course. The grass was great and so are the greens. The course is split into three 9 hole courses. Very well maintained and the food is good.

Reached out to the events coordinator to talk about hosting an event there , she never answer my calls, replied to my emails. I called the office few times, they said they will get her to reach out to me but she never did.

Driving range tee area was absolute rubbish when we were there June 30th. Maddening amount of time you couldn’t cart the fairways and how far back from the greens you had to be…ridiculous. Restaurant not open on Mondays, club house smelled awful…course was mid. Would absolutely not return. Staff were nice.
