Moor Downs Golf Course

Played the Best round of my life here, clean 9 hole golf course. We'll definitely play it again and again and again, if you get the hint. Darryl and Johnny

Love this course! Golf here regularly. It is a county course, and some of the cart paths could use work, but the staff is friendly and the course is nice.

Another beautiful course with fun holes and not too daunting. A 1916 gem with good holes , the best were 1, 2, 6, 8 and 9. The condition was very good.

This is easily my favorite 9 hole golf course. There are a few moderately challenging holes and a few difficult greens. The course is always well maintained and the staff is super friendly. Book tee times with no hesitation. Carts are first come, first serve.

Can I tell you that the instructor for the golf Jr. lessons for Moore downs…is AMAZING!!! Idk this man’s name but let me tell you as a parent watching him teach my kids it was so perfect!! Thank you. Thank your. Golf instructor, you are amazing

We were an out of practice foursome on a Saturday morning. We were able to keep pace with the course and be under double bar. It's a relatively easy course that was enjoyable for us. It's well kept, with upbeat golf carts. There were a few more challenging holes with water hazards.

The course is in good shape and the grounds have had recent improvements. I wasn't expecting to pay $27 (senior discount?)on a Thursday morning for nine with a cart, but I guess the prices have gone up. Overall, very convenient location, nice course, and the staff are friendly.

First time playing there and it’s a great little course. It plays longer than it seems. I had a very fun time

Great experience, it was an easy course but it was very fun to play

I taught myself how to play golf on the practice green and range to hit balls next to it. It was free at that time and I don't know if it still is but I practice to do you play golf there before I actually did play. When I did start about 2 months later, I won over two that I played with. It was a wonderful experience and I really liked it there I went on to play many other courses around there and then moved to North Carolina 2 years ago there are a lot of nice courses here but I really miss more downs and many others around there.

Great staff in the clubhouse. I realize that it is a muni course, but had almost a 3 hour round yesterday. We were 3 deep on the tee box for most of the round until 1 group left, and our group skipped a hole around them. The course needs a ranger.
