Mountain View Golf Course

The club house and the price to play and ride was great, but it doesn’t make up for the golf course. There is hard sand and rocks that surrounds each hole on the course. If you were to not make it on the fairway, and happens to hit a rock, there is no telling which way your ball is gonna go. Additionally, hit hard ground and rocks will eat up your clubs. This was more of a one time thing.

Ok layout, greens are a good pace and manicured but a couple are beat up. The fairways are nice but the rough turns into dirt rocks and mud and it does get muddy. This place is not worth 40 bucks with a cart. It’s at most 27 with a cart. It’s not a nice course to be charging that much. Some. Some carts are real janky but they do have some modern carts that are nice. 4 water points on the course need attention they are beat up and janky. C’mon Army, what the hell!

A fun looking place and a friendly staff. Nice bar, table shuffleboard, darts, connect four, chess, and food. The wings looked good, cheese steak looked decent, burger and bun looked good, but I had fried pickles and the fish and chips... wouldn't order the fish portion or fried pickles again, way overcooked but the fries were good. I'll try wings next time.

My husband and I haven't golfed in years. We've decided in retirement we can enjoy this hobby again. We tried the other golf course in town and it was spendy and trendy (stuffy). So we decided to try the Army base golf course, open to the public and accessible without entering the base. They were helpful, friendly. Much less expensive. For the driving range (which is what we'll be doing for a while!) $3.50 buys a token. The token gets you a small bucket of balls for the range. $60.00 gets you 20 tokens (saving $10). Do yourself a favor and just go to Pueblo Del Sol course 10 minutes away. Mountain View doesn’t keep up with their course and my group of four was constantly hounded by the Marshall to speed up when we had a group of six in front of us. Typical angry retired staff sergeants running it into the ground. As for the quality of the course, it’s terrible.

Old guy in the Pro Shop could work on his customer service. Told me they don't accept singles which is a first for me at a golf course. You can't pair up a single in a group? Give me a break Buddy....

Great course and a very nice putting green, driving range is just driving range. But truly, I used to fish the water hazards when I was a kid, and I love the place. It has been in brought for 25 years .the Crews do great.

I went for the first time and the entire staff had spectacular service. David helped teach me the basic foundations of hitting the golf ball starting me on the putting area and moving me to the driving range. He was very knowledgeable and supportive! Afterwords I went inside Fiddler’s Green to watch a football game. Petra was so nice! I do think Fiddler’s could use a pool table and an instruction booklet for how to do shuffle board. If there was a pool table, I’d stay longer and come more often. I had an amazing day though!!

Didn't Golf, did enjoy a working lunch at Fiddlers Green. Great portions, fair prices and happy staff! The burger with fries, hot dog, Philly and Garlic Parmesan wings were delicious and quickly made. Will return

Putting green and surrounding grass is perfect! Fiddlers Green is a great restaurant but they need to bring back the dozen wings.

Nice course and great location. Staff is friendly (albeit busy). There are no bunkers really so a great course if you're trying to develop your game. The fairways are in decent shape, if not perfect. The greens are nice but watch out! Your ball will roll for days if you putt with too much power. I'll definitely be back for more.

Usually nice place layed back play with beautiful views
