What People Say

In summary

Mountain View Golf Course is appreciated for its friendly and welcoming staff, affordable pricing, and scenic setting in the Santa Paula mountains, making it a popular choice for both golf and events. The course offers a relaxed, hometown atmosphere with a well-maintained bar and dining options. However, some visitors express concerns about the course's dry conditions and maintenance issues, particularly on the fairways, due to drought impacts.

Mountain View is a great little golf course in the country setting of Santa Paula. It is your 'hometown' golf course where they know you by name, have some of the best prices in the county, especially late in the day and even with the drought the greens are challenging and fast. Mountain View requires you hit the ball straight as trees line many of the fairways. Not green now due to the drought but the tee boxes and greens are being kept up nicely. They treat the regulars like family and we love playing there.!!!!

Horrible. No green grass. Rocks sand and roots. Don't bring new clubs here. Hard to push a tee into the tee box it's so dry. Fairway is just dirt and dead. Seemed more like the local watering hole then a golf course. Disappointed.

My gf and I went there for her cousins wedding reception . Its a great place because its quiet, clean, away from other places, plenty of parking and just a nice setting for partys .

I love this place, great golfing for not a lot of money. Great food, full bar, nice views (not like a country club) and very peaceful.

Nice casual golf course situated in the Santa Clara River Valley. Not too expensive and typically very nice weather.
