To bad course is closing. The layout is good, tough on some holes with many elevation changes. Greens where in great shape on most holes. Some bunkers where a little hard and wet. Whole course was decent shape tee and fairways. Found myself in the rough and tree line which most times means punch out or layup. Will have to try play one more time before they close for good in Sept 2020.

Very beautiful course there's not another like it in Ventura County 5 lakes 4 are usually filled with water 3 have a working fountain ⛲, 6 holes are played off hills, the 17th is a 110ft drop to the valley that gives you an unforgettable view and feeling of the world 🌎 the only course in Ventura County with this feature great shape for the summer if it were longer it could hold PGA tournaments -very, very quiet golf play because it's tucked away in the hill's far from it's city of Fillmore. It's sad to hear it's closing in September if i win the lottery I'm buying elkins or building one exactl…

I really enjoy this course. Great view. It can be a little breezy in the evenings but not too bad. The associates have always been very polite.

I have always enjoyed the experience of playing at Elkins Ranch. It has always been in top shape every time I went. I am so sorry to hear that this plandemic has caused the family to close it.
