Definitely the best bang for your buck in New Mexico. It is far nicer than any of the Albuquerque courses in the same price range. You really can’t beat it. Also the staff are super helpful, shoutout to Troy.

Love this course so much. This is target golf! Lots of course management required to play well. Lots of interesting holes. The course is in great condition. They have a driving range and 2 practice greens including one you can hit pretty long pitch shots into. Pro shop is well stocked. Folks are nice!! Restaurant is great! And they have a full bar. Plus event venues. This is one of New Mexicos’s best courses!!

This is an old school university golf course in the middle of Socorro, New Mexico. A little oasis in the desert. When we played last weekend it was in great shape! Short, challenging course with small greens. Mostly parkland style, with a few desert holes. Will definitely go back in the future. Loved it!

I first came to Socorro in 2003 for a bomb class at EMRTC, we drove by the course on our way to the range. I always wanted to golf the course and I finally did today! Golfed with a great kid, a student at NMT named Elliott. He was a stick! Helped me navigate the course. This is a great course, in great shape! Definitely recommend playing a round here!!

My friend grew up in Saccoro and still has family and friends there. He showed me the city and we played a round of golf. The course was fun and the greens were well kept. We had a fantastic time! There were beverages and snacks available along the course as well as bathrooms.

It was really windy and made a challenging course way tougher, but was still a fun day and a great golf course.

What a hidden gem of a golf course. I played a lot of golf courses up in Albuquerque but I never knew this was here. Very friendly staff at check in and around the course. Course was in great shape. The fairways had nice grass to hit off of. Greens rolled through and smooth. Couple of risk reward holes. There was one or two holes that had this first timer confused. I didn't know which way the fairway was going so it caught me off guard. Good snack bar with a wide variety of food to choose from. I highly encourage you to play this golf course on the campus of New Mexico tech in the small town o…

The golf course at New Mexico Tech is a gem. It is the only green patch for miles around. It is a fun course to play that offers a good challenge. The views are great of the school and of M mountain. The course is beautifully manicured and tended to. This is a great asset and Socorro is lucky to enjoy such a high quality course.

My golf league played here 8/24/23 and the course was in great condition. Best I've seen in years of playing it on occasion. Use East Road exit to save yourself 10 minutes. Otherwise you have to drive through the campus at 25mph.

Great hidden gem in Central New Mexico for the golfer looking for a change of pace. Greens are immaculate, fairways are plush and the price is perfect! Not busy and staff is truly excited about your business. Get out of the city and enjoy a great course at a great price. Worth the hour drive from Albuquerque!!!!
