In summary

Nibley Park Golf Course is appreciated for its affordability and charm as Utah's oldest municipal course, offering a well-maintained, albeit straightforward, 9-hole layout with challenging greens. The staff generally receives positive feedback for their friendliness, and the course's urban setting with mature trees adds to its appeal. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about the pace of play, course maintenance issues, and occasional customer service challenges.

Could not have had more fun. Yes, the fairways aren’t perfect but this solid of greens for $17 is unmatched anywhere in the world I’ve played. Really challenging Par3s which makes this shorter course a bit challenging. Worth your time, especially if you only have a couple of hours. Nibley's muni charm shines—flat 9 for beginners, well-maintained without bells. Fairways forgiving, greens accurate. Urban trees shade tees. Staff welcoming. Grill basics hit. $20 value. Steady pace. Great starter course—kids loved it.

Great price, fun course to practice on... I don't think that being followed for 4 holes by the Marshall was necessary when there's a view of a giant Ace dumpster, landscaping debris, and partially green fairways. I still give it 4 stars because we had a fun day...on "The Oldest Municipal Course in Utah"......even though we were stalked by the Marshall for half our play. You should be able to hit 2-3 balls per drive...because, hey, it's not the country club. Just IMO

New golfer here. Loss of star for short driving range. I'm super grateful that there is an urban range near me. I've got plenty of work with the irons that it's no loss, really, but I must go somewhere else to use my driver. That said, two free putting greens and a pitching green to boot makes this place the best to work on short game. Here, take my paycheck!

Place kinda sucks! I bought this card from them, where I could just swipe it and hit range balls til my balance runs out. Problem is I get off work at 5. So by the time I get to the range by 7, the range is closed. There's plenty of light left at 7 o'clock in the summer to let people smack some balls after work during the week. Now I'm stuck with this card I paid nearly $100 for and I can't even use it. Editing my review. This place stinks. Can't even practice

Had a great time. Employees in the pro shop were great to work with. Course is well maintained. The 4th hole fairway is a little torn up, but besides that the greens are great. Will definitely be coming back.

Both times I've played here there was no Ranger and the pace of play was really bad. I expect slow play at a MUNI but this was out of hand. It was $15 for 9 holes so you get what you pay for. The course is in mediocre condition.

The course is in great shape and the greens were perfect! Great job grounds crew!

Nibley is a decent little 9 hole course. The range doesn’t allow drivers. The greens are okay but some are a bit rough. There are several greens that are literally right next to the next tee box so it’s a bit unnerving knowing people are that close. I ain’t no pro and haven hit anyone yet, but I also don’t want to. ;).

Classic old golf course, local favorite for quick 9 holes. Huge trees, straight but narrow course.

I’d give this course a zero. You definitely get what you pay for, but the “straw to break the camels back,” was that after 9 holes an employee named Tim decided to come out on the green and yell at us because he needed our cart (the course obviously doesn’t have enough), while taking a family photo on the green after our round. Customer service was non existent and the manager stated, “all I can say is sorry.” But, here’s the back story for Tim and this course. The players were grandchildren playing with their grandfather (how many more times will that happen is always a question mark) and the…

Golf course - 3 of 5 - it serves it purpose as a nice place to get 9 holes in. I'd avoid it on the weekends or you're in for 3.5-4 hours for 9-holes. Range - 2 of 5 - 300y+ range when it's back at the mats with 70% flight balls and they will yell at you if you hit a driver. Who is hitting it 390y that they are worried about? Sunny week in May and they might just decide it's mats only and actually enforce it. If you need to actually practice, I'd make the drive somewhere else. Definitely a fun place to hit off mats and have a beer.
